If you've got Barcode Scanner, you can scan the Q-codes from the PC with your phone and it takes you straight to the download.

    Brilliant! Just brilliant!

    Great tip.

Beauty of using App Brain is that you can manage and update your apps with ease .
You don't need to be texting or giving out your number to get different apps .

  • I got my Galaxy about a week ago on Orange also and having had Nokia phones in the past ( all very good ) I have to say this has to be my bestest phone ever ..lol.

Has anyone found an App for supermarket comparison ?

Bar code scanner is good but somehow it doesn't compare prices against the big 4.

Oh I love the speak search on goggle and swype is a revolution.
Battery life does seem to let the phone down a bit though. I recently went in Apple to check out the iphone 4 and I must say would have liked to get the iphone but it was the large 4inch screen that won me over in the end and boy I am a very happy customer so far :j

I have recently bought a 5800 and wondered what other apps I can get for it and where from etc etc

I am pretty techie but mobile phones leave me a bit confused !!

There seem to be loads for an iphone but are the same ones ok for a 5800 ?

    Look forward to your responses.
Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.
  • Just got rid of my 5800 - apps are available from the Ovi store - either via pc or from mobile.

Google Nokia 5800 and forums Nokia 5800 loads of apps all depends upon what you want to do .
Not as many toys as for IPhone .
http://dailymobile.se/ good site with reviews apps games and forum for all phones .

IPhone apps are written for IPhone OS Nokia 5800 requires Symbian OS apps .

If you see an IPhone app you like just Google Name of app + Symbian Nokia 5800 and you will often find one to match .
