I really do need to get back on top of things, so will be attempting do something from the lists each day. The utility room and kitchen are at least looking respectable. The rest of the house is knee deep in dust, so getting a duster out may help...

And for those of you with last weeks of films etc - I always get complaints because I teach until the last lesson - as I point out to the students, if I didn't how could they tell the difference between school and the holidays??

Similar here. This week is an activity week (Health and Humanities - we are doing 'It's a knockout', minus the outfits and water). I've just seen the weather forecast.:eek::eek: We'd planned on having races outside. In the last week, Y7 will be making masks as they've been learning about carnival in Germany and Y8 will be presenting their individual projects to their class. Not sure yet about Y9. I've told them that their behaviour in the penultimate lesson will determine what we do in the last one. :D

Finally seem to have got myself motivated on the flying front - not sure 11.30 on a Sunday night is the ideal time :o

Anyway, the kitchen has been thoroughly cleaned (only one and a half windows and sills, the bookshelf and the spice rack, and possibly emptying, cleaning and rearranging of all the cupboards - but the latter can wait till we've finished the shed/utility room reshuffle).

Hall also pretty much done (although the light fittings need taking down and washing, as flies seem to be dying in them) - might drag the wine rack out this week (seeing as it is empty :(), and pull out the COD and the spare leaves for the kitchen table, and then EVERYTHING will have been done.

Loo all done except the basin, which I plan to do before bed (bookshelf will be emptied, cleaned and put back at some point over the summer)

Stairs have been done, including banisters. Just need some assistance dewebbing the top of the stairwell (hopefully tomorrow).

Bathroom floor has been hoovered and washed, mirror cleaned and I'm just finishing off the basin and bath before putting the shower curtain back up and wiping down the shelf unit by the bath as it's looking dusty (the other shelves are dusty, but above eye-level so can wait. As the light is currently off, I might take the lampshade off too and wash that with the ones from the hall....

Let's hope I wake up early and motivation is still there to run the hoover round upstairs and at least make it look a bit more presentable...

OK... I've managed to do the hall lights, bathroom lampshade and basin, clean the bathroom shelf and rehang the shower curtain. Basin in the loo is half done, so I'll finish that then go to bed.

I've got lots of work to do tomorrow, but hopefully I'll wake up nice and early so I can get some flying in first :D

I expect I'll see you all on here tomorrow at some point...
