    Morning Everyone

Just popping in before I head for work. Later start today which is always appreciated on a monday :) My weekend of activity has spurred me on to keep the house nice during the week so that I don't have to spend all weekend cleaning. My plan is to have a few basics every day then spend a bit longer on one one room in line with the flylady concept I guess. I wont necessarily follow the daily routine though I think for me having the whole weekly list on a Monday would be useful so that I can choose a room around my time available. Maybe I will work a week back. Anyway less waffling having said the above I plan to focus on the lounge today so heres my list.

Monday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
Declutter and vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
    Wipe sticky marks from sofas.
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Wipe and water plants
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it

    Extras
    Clear and wipe window sills
Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
    Clean mirror
Tidy out one drawer in the dining room area
    Empty dishwasher
    Wipe kitchen surfaces

mmm wondering if I will find the time now. Ambitious plans are good I guess. Have a lovely day everyone

    Morning all,

Well we're 10 days into school holidays and I'm back to packing lunches!!! We are hosting 2 foreign language students for 3 weeks - they arrived on Saturday. They are at school 6 days a week so I'm back on the school run and lunches:D So far so good - and the Italian is coming out of his shell. They both have been taught how to play cricket in the garden, having had to watch some of the ODI on Saturday.

It's a bank holiday here - so dh and ds1 have gone to play a golf comp - leaving me and ds2 to have a good run at flying. Six people seem to make a lot of mess - specially when 3 of them are 14 yo boys. The appetites are returning with a vengeance - I shall need all the OS tips to keep them fed.

So have to S&S the kitchen, do the living room and stairs and ds2 is going to attempt to mow the lawn, if I help him start the mower.

    See you all later

    Hi everyone
I've been lurking for weeks and have finally bitten the bullet and joined you. I am soooo tired of CHAOS. I'm going to have to have a major de-clutter before I can start flying anywhere with you - where do I start?

    Hmmm:Monday
    1. wash, dry & put away all pots/pans etc
    2. trip to PO to top up mobiles
    3. pick up photos/hayfever pills/ DS from college

Well, it's a start! And maybe a clean sink will mobilise me. All encouragement gratefully received. xx
