    Oil should do it, I think (and patience).

    Thanks to pigpen for the thread and the lists.

    I am in most def in - I have to get the place straight this week and get organised for going in for my treatment. I didn't get huge amounts done last week but was actually quite pleased. will go and find whats left and make a new list.

    Is it WD40 for the sticky stuff????

    Hex huge squishy (((hugs))) that all sounds very painful - I hope thats the last for a long time.

    Monday - Living Room, Hall
    Level 1
    Declutter and vacuum through the living room, hall

    [STRIKE]Wipe sticky marks from sofas. [/STRIKE]
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Wipe and water plants

    [STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
    15 minute hotspot clearance!.. and/or filing

    15 minutes sort of the junk in the hall
    [STRIKE]Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Check the smoke alarms[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. Clear and wipe window sills
    2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
    3. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    4. HHI
    Monday
    water garden if nec
    contact the council again re upstairs' garden
    put down weedkiller if poss
    Tuesday
    water garden if nec
    Cornhill
    put down weedkiller if poss
    Wednesday
    assisted shopping - post parcels, find DVDs for IV
    HHC filing

    fill box for auction
    Thursday
    HHC filing/paperwork
    water garden if nec
    put down weedkiller if poss
    cleaner?
    Friday
    water garden if nec
    put down weedkiller if poss
    Saturday
    water garden if nec
    put down weedkiller if poss
    speak to NOF
    Sunday
    Church
    water garden if nec
    put down weedkiller if poss
    get washing up to date

    Whenever...........

    1. clean freezer
    2. filing
    3. organise spreadsheets - C & birthday presents - WIP - need to fill it in
    4. debt busting!.. see if you can alter any of these payments to free up some cash!
    5. Defluff behind the radiators.. and wipe the fronts so they look nice - 5
    6. Gather insurance documents*
    7. [STRIKE]Gather guarantees/instruction booklets*[/STRIKE]
    8. Gather important papers *(put all 3 together in one accessible file)
    9. Passport - fill in form, take to PO and submit - (need £85)
    10. eBay to get the money for painters bill/ maybe new curtains and pole, heater for LR, tumble dryer, trip switch repair/ debts /passport £85/outside plumbing repairs, dividing fence
    11. Wash light pull strings! (Painting with neat bleach works then rinse in a jug of water)
    12. Sort through CD/DVD shelves.. dust and fling any that are no longer of use!
    13. Wash the vacuum cleaner innards and filters.. do not reassemble until completely dry!!
    14. get rid of old paint from shed
    15. Sort your medicine cupboard.. do you need to stock up on anything
    No more than 20 things on my list allowed:p
    Head down and batter on again

    Thanks for the ideas re the sticky stuff flyladies

    Laughing here, as I've realised I don't possess furniture polish :o my excuse is that all the furniture is oiled or waxed wood.......

    Off to try the oil - found 3 pictures I bught years ago and never hung before - they will be perfect in the kitchen now its complete, but each has a label on the front which has left loads of sticky stuff!!

    I have a bottle of stuff that's actually called 'Sticky Stuff Remover'! It works well!

    I guess the clue's in the name, really. :D

    Lighter fuel does the job too - and is great for removing sticky plasters from hairy knees (belonging to moany blokes, I hasten to add).
