It's dishonest because I feel people are being conned and duped. The volume of the product they're being supplied with is greatly at odds with the size of the packaging.

If you think Walkers are bad for this, Kettle Chips are even worse - huge bag, when you open it, only about a quarter full  Good job they are too expensive for me to buy.

I agree about the flavours. Every time they bring out a new gimmick flavour it's just a rehash of a different gimmick flavour. They might as well call them "Dwayne Johnson's Vocal Chords" because they taste about as much like them as they do their inspiration.

Hehe. :D Fully agreed. Hate it when they bring out some new gimmick like this "Argentinian Grillied Steak" and it turns out they're just another generic beef/chicken-flavoured cop-out!

In regards to Kettle Chips, I also agree that they're one of the worst perpetrators for the bag-half-full trick! Haven't seen them in ages, though - no place around me seems to have them. I might be willing to let the low crisp amount slide in the case of their sea salt and black pepper flavour, though, they're fantastic. :D

    :hello:,

I find the standard walkers crisps enough and dont find that the bags are half full. They also do big grab bags which have more crisps in but I am happy with them and will always get walkers.Yes the standard bags have air around them but thats to keep them fresh and could look as if they were bigger bags but If I want more I can easily purchase a grab bag.

Tulip, how dare you come on here and start spouting that common sense nonsense. What's wrong with you.

I'd rather have crisps that are not crushed otherwise you have to tip loads into your sandwich and then there is nothing to eat afterwards.

Oh, and the OP gets the multipack crisps and those bags are smaller - 21g I believe, the standard off the shelf pack is 34.5g and the Grab Bag is 50g. I realise that I know way too much about Walkers Crisps but I just love them as they are perfect crisps. I eat the multipack bags (one at a time sadly) when watching my weight as a pack is much smaller than a standard bag but I still get my crisp fix.

    I love crisps.

Pfft. I think it's common sense for someone to object upon noticing the bag of crisps they've just bought is less than half full. It is not common sense to think this is okay by saying "oh well the weight value is correct so I don't mind." They may technically be abiding by legal procedures but morally and in regards to the customers who are purchasing their products, their actions represent an enormous middle finger aimed directly at the consumer!

Funny how in a previous post you were saying I seemed like a bloke who had "nothing better to do with his time", yet you've memorised the weight value of multipack bags of crisps, standard bags and grab bags. Sounds like hypocrisy to me. Sorry, mate, but if I ever got to the stage that I was memorising the weight value of crisps I'd be looking for tall buildings in my area. :D

Builder's bum, haha. I have no doubt that Walkers would know exactly what an arse tastes like, they do a lot of talking out of their own. :D
