  • Desperately wishing I had a proper garden, would love to grow my own apple trees.Only have a garden path but have covered that in pots and planters full of herbs. I do have cherry tree in a pot, got 10 cherries this year! they were lovely, also lots of mange tout, lettuce, onions and wild strawberries all in pots. Would be nice to be more self sufficient. Still drinking my foraged elderflower cordial though.
Love this thread and the support for each other on it, but please can someone tell me how to bookmark where I've read up to. It takes me a good ten minutes to find where I last read. Stayed up till one the other night so I could get to the end, didn't manage to. Plus us pregnant ladies need our sleep. Glad you liked the pink sheep photo Mardatha.

I use the 'Thanks' button as my marker.
I click 'thanks' after each post I've read so next time just scroll waiting for the 'thanks' button to appear again.

I do the same Nicki. And most of the time I am thanking the person as well!

I hear the sound of a hundred deflating egos as we all realise that the thanks we get are only page markers. :rotfl:

This little arrow firstnew.gif to the left of the thread title takes you to the first new post on that thread.

But as page markers go, you're not half bad!

Hi Mardatha and gang ! Just had to de-lurk to tell you how I keep up with my fave threads. First of all when I want to save a thread I like I click on 'Thread Tools' at the top of the page of and click 'Subscribe to this thread'. Then when I want to catch up on all my subscriptions I click ' Quick Links' at the top of the page and click 'Subscribed Threads' and voila they appear. Then you click on the little arrow at the side of the thread title and that takes you to your first unread post. Sounds more complicated than it is- honest ! :)
