Just been on the special occasions and celebrations bit of the board and checked out 'challenge hand made Christmas 2010' there are some fab ideas on there, just got a chilli jam recipe to add to Dds hamper and its really easy. I read through about 15 pages and am off to start making stuff now - OMG is that the time :rotfl:

I'm off to find that thread right NOW! Sounds great :)

Am trying to keep busy painting Christmas ornaments and making cards. thinking the best way to stop worrying is to keep busy doing something to get ready for Xmas! Didnt sleep much last night but tried to plan out pressies from what I have at home already. The prospect of having less money is preying on my mind. Crossing fingers the cuts will not affect me and my loved ones too much

So much for my day of good intentions - spilt food all over kitchen floor, spilt hemp seeds all over lawn ( blooming fishing bait) then fell on my bad knee in garden. Am now in a modicum of pain ( howled for a bit) and hands aching too. this will definately slow down the plans for the rest of the week - bu**er it! But the pea soup with dumplings was very good. You see you have to find something positive even on a lousy day :)

I have gone VERY far astray in my OS endeavours. Been tempted by eBay to buy rare and unusual plants, as I adore them so much. On Tuesday I had to increase my overdraft and yesterday the reality of what I was doing hit me with such a shock: I received 17 (SEVENTEEN!) packages of plants! Even the postman commented on that! I have got to get back on track, so I'm looking to you to help. Please offer me encouragement, ideas or even chastisement!
