Ahem, I think I was at school rather before Delia's day! Although glad she approves!Jan 2011 GC £300/£150.79 (2 adults, 2 teens, working dog, includes food/cleaning/toiletries)0

I seem to remember from school, rough puff pastry is made by grating the fat.
Dd has sorted everything out now, thank you chocClare for reminding me about that I will get her to check the credit rating on the house. I am in Manchester and the flour has been missing now for over a week maybe there is a shortage around here.
Bad news in the post Dh has to go to a group aimed on getting him back to work. He is blithely unaware of this as he is out today having a couple of hours fishing with his disabled group. I am going to ring a nice lady who helped us before at the local Dhss office.Clearing the junk to travel light

I think you may only say what I am thinking. I am really worried this may push him over the edge again, I have no medical proof but I do think he had what we used to call a nervous breakdown not long ago. We work so hard at managing his illness, eating healthily, and supporting our kids and my Mum that I think he deserves a break. Sorry for ranting but I am mad as hell but will not allow myself to do that ' I know someone who is claiming and shouldnt, routine cos thats not the point. Anyway am off to find the frog that attacked me and hid under the freezer last night :rotfl:.Clearing the junk to travel light

Sorry to hear that ginny and hope, for your and DH's sake, that you can get it sorted. Heard of someone on another forum who had been struggling on at work against all medical advice and then when she finally gave up, she had to go to a DWP assessment where the doctor's first words were, "Don't think because you've got MS, you're entitled to anything!" Stress was so bad it sent her into a relapse. And doesn't sound as if Dr your DH saw really listened properly either.

So sorry to hear your bad news Ginny. I really hope it turns out ok.
I laughed at the frog bit!
I've been very un-OS today but tomorrow will be better I'm sure. Look away now Mardatha, put your fingers in your ears and think nice thoughts of sweeties ...because kale is on the menu for tomorrow. Not sure what I will turn it into but I quite like the stuff and it was cheap. I prefer my veggies in the main dish rather than on the side so if anyone has any suggestions (and Mardatha is still looking the other way) then let me know. Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! Not sure what I will turn it into but I quite like the stuff and it was cheap. Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Can you make a colcannon-y sort of thing with it? Potatoes and the kale, chopped up, plus some onions and bacon? And lots of butter, mmmmm....:D0
