Mine has just arrived, the box was already OPEN with bottles rolling around and the envelope had been opened. there are missing lids and lids that dont fit and I have no idea whether I have all the items or not, I received a couple of mousses and hairsprays :(

Mine has just arrived too.. the box and envelopes are open and some of the products are damaged. Also they sent me products for dyed blonde hair when I sent them a description and photo with dyed red hair. Not sure what else I can do other than email them which I did straight away. However, I emailed them over a week ago asking if they would send it to my work address but they never replied and it was sent to my home address - luckily they rang the doorbell properly for once (as Citylink never bothered doing that with my replacement mccain camera - so I never got that! - another story ;)
Should I phone them? I am disappointed by how my mail has been tampered with and damaged - maybe even stolen items as well as being sent things that I cannot actually use. I realise the items are free but I still feel let down.
Thank you to all of the posters for their hard work!

Well I got mine today but I am very very dissapointed - it was open and there was only 4 products in it all moisturising hair mousses. I think it's obvious most of the products have been stolen out of mine. I am going to e-mail them now. My hair is very fine and long so I can't use moisturising products as it will make it go even flatter than a pancake. I know I should appreciate the small amount I got but my wins have been very small this year and this was the best thing I have won and I can't tell you how thrilled I was when I got the e-mail so I am really dissapointed :-(

I think that happened to mine too. As you can see in the above post. I have damaged items, and very few items. I didnt even get a letter with it! I was also sent the wrong products - for dyed blonde hair when I have red!
Thank you to all of the posters for their hard work!

My envelope was open - never even been sealed, just popped in box with papers slid inside.

The box was sealed feebly (ie - huge box & one measly strip of tape along to seal it - surely a large jiffy bag would have worked better)

The products are damaged (ie tins dented, lids broken etc) And they have black marker pen numbers written on some

but to be honest it was the same last year - these products aren't brand new, they are to test - they really aren't bothered if you get a half bottle or shiny new one.

It has been very slapdash haphazardly put together, but it is a large testing panel.

and I'm a bit confused as to how people got make products when it was a hair testing panel too :-S

I would suggest if you are missing items - the paperwork especially! get in touch straightaway.

Sorry to hear they've got it wrong for a few of you :(

Looks like I'm one of the lucky ones. My hair's dry due to straightening and I suffer with split ends. They send me stuff from:

    Category 59: Professional Smoothing/Straightening product

    and

    Category 36: Overnight hair treatment

Never thought much about overnight hair treatments so look forward to trying those!

    I got:

Frizz-ease creme serum (overnight) (£14.99 in Boots)
Mark Hill style secrets overnight miracle repair treatment (overnight) (£7.99 mentioned in mags but can't find in shop)
Trevor Sorbie beautifully straightened (overnight) (5.49 in Boots)
Elvive re-nutrition (overnight) (£7.49 in Superdrug)

    label.m smoothing cream (£11.70 Amazon)
Joico - K-Pak Style smoothing balm (£10-ish through internet)

All in, nearly £60. Not as good as some price-wise, but I'm really happy 'cos it's not stuff I usually buy, and I'll enjoy trying them all out (hey, something might actually help!).

    Will last me for yonks!

    Good luck, all :D

Just to let you know, the numbers written in marker pen correspond to the category they fall in - ie one of mine has 36 written on it which is "Category 36 - Overnight Hair Treatment".

Am inclined to believe they are actually brand new - but maybe some are seconds or have been damaged in transit.

I had a reply - they said the 4 products I got was correct and attached the paperwork so I can take part.

I do think though (not begruding people who got lots of products) that they should have been more fair when splitting the products how can they give 4 categories to some and only one to others. They should have done more of an equal split.

Hi, I got the same and not to be controversial, but I am disappointed to be honest and can't use most of it. Although I am grateful I didn't get spiky hair gel or blonde hair products when I had red hair, that's a complete pain! Thanks to all posters on this thread, I've enjoyed reading it :)

just had mine delivered and got 6-7 products, 4 of them were hairdye, 2 were for blonde hair!! i have red hair, which they could plainly see in my pic, also got to test shampoo for red hair which is fair enough but have to choose a winner and runner up but only got 1 shampoo? other things were heat protection sprays

wasnt packed well, only 1 bit of brown tape sealing it which had come halfway off, last year was much better with regards to how they handled it, and the products that were recieved, i got hair straightners last year:D

I find it strange that in 2 of the categories I have to test (HIGH Street shampp for curls) I only have 2 products to test, so one is going to have to win and one is going to have to be a runner up no matter how bad it is! makes me think I am not going to believe any of the awards I see in the magazines anymore!
