I wanna netbook!

I want some recommendations please, for the best netbook I can get for £200 or under.

I'd get a laptop but can't carry one around as I've had 3 x spinal surgeries.

I'm going to use free wifi when I can and a PAYG dongle for when I'm out & about. (I have plusnet wireless at home)

What are the specs I need? - Windows XP or 7 (no vista!), as fast a processor as I can get, and light as possible. Only want it for net, emails, light WP/office tasks and perhaps saving progs for transfer to desktop at home via usb stick.

Am very grateful to any and all who take time to help me out here!

A little above your budget at £234 MSI X410 2GB RAM, 14" screen with Windows 7 Home Premium. 1.52kgs. Black is available for £10 more.

Other than that there are quite a few 10" screen laptops within your budget, but they will have only 1GB RAM and lesser processors.

Looking for under 1kg if I can - makes all the difference when I'm carrying stuff as I can't lift/carry more than 3-4kg generally. But thanks for the pointers

Have you ever seen one under 1 kg? Even the smaller screens will be around 1.1 to 1.2kgs.

Srsly though, when I borrowed a fairly new laptop from a friend, I had to get my OH to carry it when the weight of charger, disks, bag etc was factored in not fair!
