Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

It's not like there's a recent precedent. Some guy with a gun. In rural Northern England. That didn't end well.

It very rarely does end well. Anywhere.

The Guardian thinks he turned out this way because daddy wouldn't let him take barbie and sindy to Greenham Common.

Sky were so pathetic covering this incident. They even asked if their helicopter could fly above the area to 'help'.

Sky were so pathetic that they even asked a policeman if he were to shoot Raul how he would feel.

Sky were so desperately pathetic that they ran a story about how the police did not know that Raul was out of the country.

    Sky are so pathetic. Pathetic.
You are having a laugh arent you. I was flicking between both BBC and Sky as I always do in these type of live situations ( last one being Jackos death) and they are always like an hour behind what is happening. Prime example was at 2ish this morning Sky reported that their sources say he was dead on arrival the BBC were still reporting for over an hour that he was alive and well and suffering a gunshot wound. The same happened last year with Jackos death.

Sky "We can confirm that it is Michael Jackson in the ambulance and that he is dead"

    For the next 40 minutes

BBC "We are unsure as to whether it is Michael in the ambulance onthe wayto hospital, it may be one of his aides and they are working on him as we speak"

At 3am this morning BBC News24 then went onto pre recorded news until 6 this morning leaving the ticker updating by some muppet in the office feeding of the AP/PA and Reuters feeds. Hardly what some pay their TV licence for and although they are still broadcasting News 24/7 it is hardly live news. !!!! biased reports too.

Love the group of armchair police strategists:
I find it hard to believe that he hasn't gone further than 2 miles in 3 days. As a person living in the North East I can tell you that the majority of people I've spoken to think the same.
To me it seems obvious that he's either heading for the border which is only a few miles over the fields from Otterburn, or he's heading back down the west side through the National Park to get back to Newcastle.

Good to see that you weren't in charge of the operation then.

It's easy to look back on this with hindsight and think that the Prison Service and police could have worked together to stop this, but if the police seriously investigated every piece of intelligence that was brought to them, they'd never be able to do their day jobs.

And if one wants to be really catty, she doesn't use a sleeve board when ironing!
