Its unfair to criticise
The police are in a really difficult situation and until they have concrete evidence Moat is not in the area they cannot leave it. It would be incompetence otherwise.
I also strongly suspect there is a lot more to this than has been shared publically as it simply doesn't add up what he is doing hanging around the countryside or why he still is after the police.
I am suspicous of the polices statement today however. I am now starting to wonder if Moat is still communicating with them and almost holding them to ransom to "big" him up on the media rather than say the truth that he is some guy in the middle of nowhere who will be a bit dead when he comes up from air from whatever hole he is in.0 -
The police may have intelligence about Moat they don't want him to know they have, so they won't always tell the whole story in media interviews.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Personally if I was in charge of NP the first thing I would do is to ban Sky News from the area......all the guy has to do is listen to Sky News to find out where the police are looking and then go in the opposite direction.
On a different note does anybody think it's weird that he's now supposed to be targetting the general public when before he only seemed to have a grudge against the police and authorities?2014 Target;
