Keeping spirits up and stopping the public from going crazy?
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

Basically because they haven't got a damn clue where Moat is. I find it hard to believe that he hasn't gone further than 2 miles in 3 days. As a person living in the North East I can tell you that the majority of people I've spoken to think the same.

Yep, once again NP have messed up big time, expect more fun when the Sunderland fans from the central station incident come to court and the police brutality used that day is laid bare for all to see.
If at first you don't succeed, maybe bomb disposal isn't the best career choice.

    That's IF they show it.
More of a surprise for them if and when Moat pops up miles away from where they were expecting him to and there's nobody close enough to deal with him.

Well the SAFC fans charged that day got together and formed a proper team with backing from the Football supporter assoc. So they won't be able to sweep it under the carpet.

As for Moat I think he's out of the country, never to be seen again.

I think the police have been great,I don t see what more they could be doing .I realise that before he was realised they may have made errors ,but since this all happened I think they ve done well.Theres been no expense spared and mass media coverage, Im quite proud of them ,and I live in the police catchment area .

I think they are handling it remarkably well actually and I live in Newcastle.

Yes they were laughing and it's a serious murder case, but the local residents were making jokes too and they are trying to keep up the spirits of the local residents that are no doubt scared s**tless.

And also as he pointed out - that latest conference was a local residents meeting, not aimed at the media, but aimed at the residents to have their say, hence the less serious tone of the announcements/questions.

I didn't even think the media would be allowed to be there but the residents were asked right at the start and said it was ok.

I didn't mind them laughing and trying to keep it all calm. What I'm confused about is the fact that they found a mattress in an abandoned farm in Otterburn 15 miles away....this morning.....and yet they're still convinced he's within their 2 mile zone.
To me it seems obvious that he's either heading for the border which is only a few miles over the fields from Otterburn, or he's heading back down the west side through the National Park to get back to Newcastle.
If you look at the map and see where he's been it all starts to look a little strange compared to what the police are saying.
