I don't think the police are doing a bad job considering what they have come up against to be honest but he could be anywhere now. It has made me wonder how different things could have been if his ex-missus hadn't lied and said she was knocking off a copper.

The police have done some daft things in my opinion though by getting people such as hand writing experts in to look at the letters. This is after he's shot 3 people and said he want's to kill police officers and the hand writing expert say's "Looking at the way words are written show that he's disturbed and un-hinged".... No S**t Sherlock, did you really need to pay an expert to come up with that??

And if it was just the 2 ordinary folk who'd been killed they wouldn't be doing such a big search IMO.
They're only going big because one of their own got shot.
You don't see big searches like this when a young hoodie gets shot in London.....

Very true, there's a joke for every occasion. I'm sure there's people out there with jokes already written about celebs and are just waiting to press the send button when something happens.

They are in danger of making this man infamous, he is one step ahead of the police at all times, but I seriously think he has ran out of ammunition, however its only a matter of time before he breaks into a farmhouse, whether or not it is occupied and refuels himself, possibly stealing a vehicle and driving just about anywhere in the UK. The more time he is on the run, the more desperate and dangerous he will become.
