i kind of wish i never started this thread for some of the replies i've got on here and i'm sorry if it sounds trivial but its far from it. It just shows you how often harrassment isnt taken seriously. Why should she have to just leave FB and forget about it?

If we're not taking it seriously, then why are we taking the trouble to post here? I'm not suggesting she leave Facebook to annoy you/her, or for other flippant reasons, I suggest it because it will achieve the aim of stopping the harassment. No doubt.

Yes, it's a blunt-force method, and yes, there's some inconvenience to her as a result, but it gets the job done.

Sledgehammer to crack a nut, make no mistake, but crack it it does....

This all seems a bit unfair to me guys
The OPs come on asking for any help we may be able to suggest. Im pretty sure that theyre WELL aware of the option of deleting the account

Lets say I was getting bullied at work. Should I just quit my job? Hell no, id fight fire with fire

If someone I know is getting bullied in ANY way, I certainly wouldnt suggest giving up. Quite the opposite in fact.............

And if she was getting malicious phone calls, she should avoid answering the phone? Don't be stupid. Deal with the problem at its source. If the relative won't remove the malicious person from THEIR friends, remove the relative from YOUR friends.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
