    Happy Bunny time. :)

As the holiday money has now been sorted, the cash from thholiday envelope is now free to be put back in the general fund - or, as it's cash, the food kitty. DH had £5 over from his share of last week's and £35 which people paid him towards the meal out (he paid on the cc for all of us), and I had £55 in the savings envelope - so £95 cash which almost pays this week's food without having to get any out. :T:T:T We are going to try to manage on that and not spend the other £5.

I know a lot ofpeople are better than us at spending little on food but we're feeding five adult/teenage appetites so while we're working at cutting back, it's not going to be £20 yet.

Well done on getting another letter done :T, still hanging around if you need any more help :D

And great news on getting a weeks free food by transferring from the different pots.

£95 to feed 5 for 7 days isn't too bad - less than £3 each per day. Stop beating yourself up!

Grrrr to anxiety attacks :( When I get stressed I get eczema, currently have patches all over the place so I think a trip to the Dr may be in order.

Do you know I had never seen it like that! Thanks Maty! :) Normally £100 for 5 of us, plus or minus a couple... averaging therefore £20 each so just under £3 per person per day.
Also DD is away this week so either I see her share as bonus money or try to get away with less!

Bought chicken nuggets and chips for one of the DSes, the other had gammon sandwich for tea and DH and I had a gammon hotpot - bought onions, mushrooms and a tomato for this but everything else we already had. Spent £4.61 on food, £4 on shampoo and conditioner, 45p on shower gel, 75p on a paper to look at job ads...

Bought some magazines for mum with her money and got given a free copy of The Times which is rightly hers but she won't mind if I have a look. :)

What else today? Piano lesson (£10), the first for about three weeks and it's nice to get back to it. Descaled the kettle and iron - vile job and the fumes give me a headache even though I did it mostly outdoors.Visited Mum and saw she had written some nice comments about me in her notebook (I write to her as she can't hear much) which cheered me up - she makes me feel appreciated! Got the shampoo on offer: last time I bought a cheaper brand but this was under half price. Fed the newts! :)

Nothing major today then, just a day that turned out happier than I'd expected, largely due to the note from Mum.

:T:T:T To nice comments from Mum :T:T:T

My Mum was very bad at saying nice things to us, but she did say nice things about us to others and it was always nice to hear others say how proud she was of us :D

My Mum would have loved one if us to be musical but we failed her dismally in that area :( She did give us all a love of music of all kinds. She was in her 60's when Live Aid happened and we were out shopping that morning. I asked why she was dashing about and she said we had to be back for the start as Quo where on first :rotfl:

Glad you had a nice day. :T

Glad I made you see that you really don't spend that much feeding the masses, glad to have been of service ;)

Funnily my mum was exactly the same - never to our faces. Perhaps it's easier to write it.

I woud have loved to have been musical too (and I expect my piano teacher thinks the same!)

Funnily I'd never really listened to her till she died. I just assumed she wasn't my kind of music. I think I missed a legend.

Don't you just need a loaf of bread and a few fishes, and very precise cutting!

Amy Winehouse - Fantastic voice, deeply flawed personality. Unfortunately highly destructive.
