Did you get to sleep in the end, Erme? Hopefully you're still sleeping. I was meant to be but it doesn't always work out that way. Miserable, isn't it, when you need to sleep and can't.
I had no idea cod liver oil is good for cholesterol but I do take quite a high dose because I discovered by accident that it seems to help me not to get depressed, and I hope it helps my joints too. So I can see I'll have to keep up the good work.Miggy

This is what you call not a good day, with not good stuff going on. Coming up to a not-good anniversary too.
MS-wise, have saved some money with end-of-day bargains a few times. Didn't count, don't care. Not right now. Doesn't help I'm so tired, but I have a few days off which I really need.

Good one for today.Miggy

Hi Miggy,
Sounds like you need a little boost? Or is that just sleep needed?
Well done on still getting bargains while feeling like you do. I really hope you feel better after a good night's sleep and knowing you have a few days off.

Hi Miggy,
I know you will get the comfort you ask for, and it is lovely to read about someone with faith, who walks a genuine Christian path.

Thanks Muffy and Rainbow.
Will get to church for the first time in ages today - have worked too many weekends recently - then taking DD's stuff to Uni. Two cars' worth! She is getting her keys but coming back for a week as she has some more shifts and needs the money.
I'm feeling less rough today (boy did I feel bad yesterday). I looked back at the beginning of my diary and realised I started it a year after the accident, but I'm fairly sure I was on the forums when it happened. Was I? I seem to have been here years. Maybe it went onto Mike's thread? Almost exactly three years... not going into that right now.
Okay, need to dash.Miggy

So nice to get to church again: will miss the next two weeks due to a big family do then work, but I think I will get to homegroup this week which helps bridge the gap. Anyway a great praise session then a talk by our soon-to-be new pastor who is both straight talking and very funny so for some reason I left feeling good.
I know it's not about me and what I feel, but inevitably it has an effect.
DD, GB and DS2 are on their way to Uni and we are going to follow soon but hoping to be back on line this evening.Miggy

Oops, I fell asleep instead of coming back here! Must be the hayfever tablets.
I had a good night's sleep anyway and am hoping for another tonight.
Right now I am putting off doing some course work for work, and the washer is buzzing away with the first load of the day. Whatever happened to yesterday's heat and sunshine?
The visit to DD's Uni went well: her flat is okay though both she and I had a few things to say about the cleaners! Probably the same ones from the hotel DH and I went to in spring: immaculate bathroom but walls and carpets in need of basic attention. Someone somewhere has sussed that people will accept dirty walls but not a dirty bathroom. Why they don't think to clear up hair and nail clippings though... We have hoovered, moved her stuff in, had a walk round the neighbourhood, DD had an unsuccessful go at blagging a job in a local shop (:D) and were all back here for a late tea: not bad really.
She has a biggish fridge-freezer to share with the rest of the flat which is great: batch cooking can be done and hopefully none of that 'someone's ancient pack of peas in the frosted up ice compartment of a manky fridge' that I remember from student days.
None of her flatmates has moved in yet though other people have the same idea as she has and are moving their stuff ahead of themselves.
Okay, Equality and Diversity course, let's see if I can get on line access.Miggy

E&D complete (didn't take all day). 'Only' got the NVQ to finish for now... oh and a Moving and Handling refresher on Wednesday. I thought I only did that a few months ago? Oh well.
DD has been at home today with a hacking cough but has managed to go out to one of several farewell meals tonight! I have raided the cleaning cupboard for duplicates so she can have her flat-cleaning bonanza: let's hope her new flatmates are sympathetic! Nice to have a bit more cupboard space though.
Sooo... DD is out on the town, DS1 is on holiday, DS2 appeared briefly and went again and DH appeared for a while then had to go back to work, thus giving me no excuse but to get on with some useful study. Or maybe I can find something better to do?
Money-wise, Monday is always more expensive on groceries, but that will even out over the week and next week I'll take less money out and DD's share should be available to transfer to her. Hoping her loan doesn't take too long: we're already buffering her costs!
What else to do? Ah - piano practice! I knew I'd find something!Miggy

Piano practised... sort of. Not totally neglected, anyway.
NVQ resumed. One question completed (encouraging clients to take responsibility for healthy living). Now there's a whole wodge of stuff about legislation to wade through. I think this is why it ground to a halt before.
Not tonight, though. Sleep calls.
DD texted to say that when she arrived for the meal, supposedly with GB, a whole host of her friends were there too, with balloons! Aw...Miggy
