Thanks Ani.
Really appreciate you thinking of us in the middle of everything you are coping with.
Well... we still don't know about the job! DH is thinking of ringing his boss if nothing official's said today.
I'm not supposed to be awake yet but I can't get back to sleep. Thankfully I'm not working tonight. I'm just so incredibly tired. Sometimes I have a run of nights which goes really well and I get plenty of sleep between times but this hasn't happened over the past few shifts. Not enough sleep and a bit more to do at work, then I was feeling unwell last night too - about the third time this has happened to me and I can only conclude it goes with the hours.
I'm glad now that I didn't apply for the permanent extra hours that are being advertised. I know they would be a huge struggle.
Still, days off now and I can catch up on sleep tonight! Yay!
Which reminds me... not so much coffee.
Moan, moan... sorry. It's a glorious day now, though when I went to sleep at breakfast time it was pelting down and had been for hours. The radio says there's snow over at Whitby.
I think I am going to treat myself and search out the box of seed packets. If I don't plant them, they'll just go to waste and if I do plant them I'll have to try to find space on the windowsills, much to the displeasure of my family.
Time to do something useful.Miggy

Its hailing here, so much for gardening.
Got to be one of my favourite places on earth, whitby, along with north landing, flamborough, and of course, galapagos.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Hail and snow - sounds like a sign you aren't meant to be doing that lawn Ani! Our grass is growing madly too. Nice to see it so green.
Yes, Whitby's a legend. Lucky us, we were there the other week when it was so warm... sitting outside drinking coffee, in March! I haven't managed Flamborough, North Landing or the Galapagos (yet). I horrify people round here by saying I love London, but I do. Ditto Dorset, but no one is ever horrified by that.Miggy

On balance, maybe its as well i mowed the lawn, although i'm not convinced. It just brings more stress.

The daffs will recover but I'm sorry it happened of course. These systems seem to assume people like waiting around. Good that the CRB are involved with the finances though.
I'm not a Goth but they do add to the atmosphere.Miggy

We had an amazingly MS tea tonight thanks to me managing to get to the end-of-day mark-downs at Mr T on the way to work last night: a small gammon joint for 42p! Also various other bits - total saving = £5.82. Mind you there will be a use for it before the end of the week.
I aso missed my lesson today so that's £10 mortgage overpayment.Miggy

Ha ha, who knows what I'm on about these days?! Well, the picture in my head is the right one, even if nobody else can see it.
I don't imagine the CRB would find anything amiss with you if they searched for years.Miggy
