My top tip for this house is ..........do not try frozen mince again.........it was disgusting :rotfl: Do not even ask me what was wrong with it , just disgusting. Even my neighbour who was in tried it and she agreed lol

So have to start again with the fresh mince I have in fridge and the rest of the frozen went to the bin men lol Was not even saving a lot of money with it but thought it would be handy. Next time mince is on offer will buy extra and freeze it but will not be buying the ready frozen again lol

I need some energy, anyone got any to spare. Need to empty and fill diswasher, hooover floors and put washing away. Have a load on line and very windy here so should be dried soon.

  • Morning everyone

Just back from the gym, I feel great but why is it always such an effort to get there in the first place?!:rotfl:

Anyway posted some eBay stuff off on my way back and have got myself a coffee before I put the dishes away an start the lunch.

Overcast here but not near as windy as yesterday.

Bought myself a BM last night on Amazon. Purchased the Panasonic SD257. Super excited about it coming and the fact I did it the MSE way. Naturally. Bought through nectar and used Amazon vouchers I found that must have been an Xmas gift at some point!
Anyway I have wanted one for a while and I was using my Mum's SD255 which is amazing but I had to give it back to her cos she was missing it!:D

I thought I had a bargain last week from Wilkos with a £40 nest of tables. They arrived yesterday so I sat down to self assemble them but upon opening the box every bit of wood was split or broken. gutted:mad: so waiting on it being picked up an replaced.

So anyway, just a house tidying day for me. Might make brownies later.

Have a great day everyone. hugs to those in need x

Oh Yes!!!! Love the CD and H G Well's book!

What can I say.....my dad used to play the musical when I was a kid - I have nightmares about it  I used to routinely dream that the red weed was crawling up my leg or that I was going to be dragged off to have my blood drunk by aliens. But apparantly it kept me quiet - no wonder :eek::eek: :rotfl: Still can't hear it now without feeling mild dread :o

Tru - all I can say is OUCH!!!! Hope your poorly hand is better soon. It's not infected or anything is it?

Tappers - sorry about your work. Crossing my fingers your job is OK x

lowesy - hugs to you and your H. It most definately isn't your year is it. I hope the grievance sorts this woman out xx

Sun is out here and it's nice and hot. My poor grass is scorched - it's been several weeks now without any significant rain - I have to spare water for the veggies and pots but not the grass. On the plus side though my raspberries are ripening lovely :D

Not sure what's up with my garlic - it doesn't seem to be doing anything :( Think I might pull it out as I don't think it's growing very well. I've got long stalk that's flopped over but no bulbous bit at the top <confused>

Anyway had better go and wash up.
    enjoy your afternoon :D

  • Hi
Sorry not been on here or even read it for a bit:o
Having a really carp time at the mo as DS not sleeping due to worry about going to juniors next year and also things being different as it is the end of term.:(
I could just about manage tht but he is also being so rude and nasty it is awful. OH and I dont get anytime to relax due to him not sleeping. I also feel like there are not enough hours in the day and I can`t keep up with everything that needs doing:o
Ended up bursting into tears at school this morning as DS is crying everyday when I drop him off. a fellow mum took me to her house for coffee.
I think I am going to go to bed when I put DS to bed so I can get some sleep and OH can deal with him.
This morning I just felt like running away:eek:
    Anyway enough of me moaning.
Hugs to all in need as I havent read the daily for a while so not sure what is going on:o
