how ironic i have just found out they are looking at an exchange tonight lol, so hopefully if they like it the problem with the worst one will be solved.
thanks for the replies:j:beer: :beer::j0 -
Been in exactly the same position as you (pretty much identicle) tried complaining to ha,etc etc ended up going to private renting.I know exactly what you're going through and it's miserable.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

Report them to the authorities.0

Your HA should have an ASB team that you could report them to - it will be in confidence. If it gets really bad you could try to apply for a Management Transfer (a priority move)
Re the noise- the Council have an Environmental Health team who could visit and night and monitor the noise.
Benefit cheats make my blood boil and i would shop them - again it is all confidential and if they are bragging about it that much then anyone could have shopped them!

its all so frustratring, i work 5 days a week, always have, but these people just cheat the system.
i think we will wait it out about the exchange and see if they move in the next month or so, iam going to start a diary of the noise etc that should help if and whe we take it further.
again thanks for all the replies.:j:beer: :j0 -
You need to complain and/or ask HA to move you.
Don't bother - waste of time - HA's are money making businesses and if yours is the one I think it is it's one of the worst.
Put all your effort into getting out of debt and in a position to get a mortgage and get a house.
If you exchange
1. You will exchange into another social housing property - different neighbours same problems
2. The people you exchange with will know where you live
Grit your teeth, save and get out
Is shared ownership an option in your area?
Social housing is becoming increasingly residualised - I've worked in the sector for almost 30 years and it just gets worse.
Yes - there are some good tenants out there but they are reducing day by day - as the old ones die off or move out the new ones just get worse. I try to kid myself that the majority of my tenants are decent hard working people and I still believe they are, but only just
Good luck - I wish there were more tenants like youDebt at 15/8/ 2010 £304,984 (includes £267K mortgage )

Not a solution to your problem but do you think there is any need to report them to social services for their treatment of the children?Wedding 5th September 20150

Get an exchange or rent privately and then inform on them.0

Guys, thanks for your replies, I think the best thing we can do is save for a few years and see if we can raise enough for a deposit on a house.
I would love to shop them in for the benefit fraud but it is more of a moral dilemma for me, they have two young children who are completely innocent in all of this if they had some routine and discipline iam sure they would be lovely kids.
If we were to report them for the benefit fraud it would put the kids in a position of poverty I just couldn't live with that on my conscience, the guy knows allot of travelers and other people who we would really like to avoid getting into any kind of bother with.
I know we should report them but with the kids and the high risk of retaliation towards my family I feel its just best to keep stum about the issues.
Renting privately is a great idea but going from £420 per month rent to 8-900 per month rent would push our finances to a point where we would have no quality of life financially.
I guess the best action for us would be to save for the next 3 years, any work bonus I get can go into the pot, knock the holidays on the head for a few years etc just to make sure we can save enough to get out for good, and in 3 years we will be completely free of any bad marks on mine and my wife's credit reports so we will be in a position to get a decent apr mortgage.
I really appreciate the replies from you all, I had to vent my frustration somewhere.
