Here's to your future, Up The Creek :) Best of luck x
  • Good luck with it. Everyone makes mistakes and whilst some peoples may be bigger than others, I am certain it was only out of panic or desperation to get things sorted in the long run. You are right this is a forum to help and whilst I cannot contribute any advice myself, I hope you have found some of the information given helpful. Good luck.

Anyway I'm not lowering myself to your level. I've said my piece and I'm sure you'll continue saying yours.

Err, do you not understand the concept of sacrasm? Obviously not. You seem not to like people who hold a different opinion to yourself.

  • Hi there,
Also wanted to wish up-the-creek well in facing up to and coming to terms with situation.

This had probably been suggested but maybe up-the-creek, you could start a new thread, SOA or something and let this one drop down the board?

Does 'sacrasm' have something to do with worship as in sacred? Or were you just being sarcastic?
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

  • I am unsure why anybody who is in debt or has been in debt would wish to pass judgement on Creeks dilemma in a negative/blaming/finger pointing way.

Its fraud...yes...and legally wrong...to be in debt is morally wrong and not paying owed money ontime is legally wrong....however circumstances and unwise choices brings us to the feet of these problems and as long as we try to rectify these and see the error of our ways... we shouldn't be condemned by another.

Good look & best wishes to everybody who wants to be debt free. :)
  • Hello

I have stated numerous times i have been stupid & done wrong & bitterly regret it. This is all i think about every minute. However, i am dammed if i am going down for it when i see the kind of "crimes" the average hooded thug gets away with.

I can say with more or less 100% certainity, you wouldn't go to prison. But lying about it won't help. At all. If you do get caught (I'm not suggesting that you go to the police and tell them what you did for one minute - that's crazy!) then you should be honest. It will make all the difference, trust me! The courts don't have enough space in prisons for burglars, drug dealers and robbers, let alone you! I don't think it would ever get to the place where the police get involved, as I said before, but, seriously, BE HONEST if it does! Most of all, good luck with it all. You're doing so well and will be fine!!!!

And thanks Kenshaz for the compliment, I'm all bashful now! ;)
