Although it was 15 years ago, I can still hear the guy in the next bed pleading with the 65 year-old cut-throat wielding hospital barber to be gentle with him!
And guys, don't we struggle to get the nurses laughing? Whatever joke you crack, they've heard it before - a thousand times. One even said to me "and before you ask, no we haven't got anything that will get rid of the pain but leave the swelling". :rotfl:0 -
There are some very amusing experiences on here. Thanks my husband will be amused when he reads this(i think he will be crossing his legs also!)0

OH had his done at the GP surgery about 18 mths ago and I went in the room with him. It wasn't too bad but I did feel a bit queezy when the surgeon held up the bit of cut out tube to show me!!! Dh was fine with it all.
In answer to your question though, he's had no ongoing probs. He was just a bit bruised and sore for a couple of days.

It's the best form of contraceptive and almost completely assured - but note my previous message. It means no more pill (I'm assuming) and all the issues of long term use of that. 99.9% sure, that aint bad and you've been contacted by Mr. 0.1% so be happy. Go for it! And collecting the samples can be fun, if you (he) can forget that it's for scientific investigation in the first instance and not the pleasurable experience that men have been practising since puberty struck!0

My husband had his done about 9 years after we had been together a few months (long story he is 10 years old than me and has two children and I have never wanted them).
He had a pain for a few days after and that was it. He has never regretted it and neither have I. As it has meant I don't have to use any sort of chemical protection that messes with my hormones.
There will alway be people will tell horror stories just ask around about giving birth. Don't forget that for every one operation there is a problem with there are 100's if not 1000's where are no problems.

I had mine done about 12 years ago when the wife and I decided that we had 2 lovely kids aged 8 and 11 and we did not want anymore.
OP went without a hitch even though I had to have it done with a pain killing injection in the spine because a local would not work because of complications.
Gonads the size of grapefruits for 3 days and getting a basketball in my crutch 2 days later were the only painfull things.
Recomend the op to anyone. They did say when I had mine done that it can increase the risk of Testicular Cancer, so you should regularly check your Balls.
The most embarring bits have got to be all the females in the theatre looking at your tackle but that is nothing to going to give your fresh specimens in. I had to do mine at the hospital. No doing it at home and bring it in!!!!!!!3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
Recent uk research on Cancer/heart risk of vasectomy.
Our findings add to the evidence that vasectomy is not associated with an increase in the long-term risk of these diseases.
that is not to say you shouldn't regularly check your Balls or have them checked. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program
