Yeah you just write reviews and you should rate other reviews too so that other dooyoo/ciao members will read yours back and return the rate. I've just read your family guy review, it's a good basis, you need to add extra information though, like why do you like it? What are the characters like? etc... Maybe some facts about it like who is the director/producer that kind of thing. Usually reviews that are over 400 words get seen as very helpful. If you look at other reviews you'll see what I mean, I'll comment on your review so you know who I am and you can look at mine. I'm sure you'll soon get used to it! The money seems small at first with a few pence per review but at the end of th emonth on Ciao they share out 2k across members. Those who have had lots of readings of their reviews get a share of it. It can be anything from £2- 60 depending so it's quite encouraging! It inspires me to keep voicing my opinion anyway!

I'm going to check amazon again in a minute, i haven't checked for about half an hour! haha

how are yoiu listing books on amazon? Are you aiming to equal the lowest price? Some of my books are in really good condition so I think worth a bit more but not sure if buyers would automatically go for lowest price or not.

Some of mine are a penny under lowest price, others that I see that will sell are higher- for example ones that only have a couple already listed I put for more money. Those that I can see have lots already on there so it's more competition i've got on for less...

Just written my first review on Dooyoo under lalli_pickle. It's about the Ford Ka. I was a bit miffed when I saw that everyone seems to hate it as it is probably my favourite small car, but then I saw they were comparing it to their first car which were generally in a different class, higher spec, bigger engine etc. Maybe I got a bit too emotionally involved lol.
Just going to see if I can copy it to Ciao and make some more pennies :)

So how did everyone do today then? I feel like I did really well, but that's probably because I did so badly yesterday.
I also now have a total of 120 odd items on Amazon and 50 odd lots on Ebay so it feels like all I have to do now is wait. I would like to point out that waiting is not something I'm good at :/
When does your stereo finish Geegee8 and how is the listing going Fozzeh? Any more Amazon sales?

    Hi there :)
I'll join in please :) My situation is - my contract in my job ended at the end of July, I'm getting married in 5 weeks and I am absolutely skint and in a state of sheer panic! I need to raise about 2000 in the next 5 weeks!! I have just under 35 pound in the bank and hubby is working all the hours he can get - god help he'll be dead by the time we get married!! This money I need to raise isn't just for wedding - it's actually mostly for bills. I was paid off in a lump sum and expected 3 months pay when in reality it mounted to 2 so about 650 down before I started :( I have sent off numerous application forms and running around pushing Betterware catalogues through doors,(with very little return at the moment) :(
Going to put postcards in shop windows round my village today advertising my cleaning services - I have no idea how much to charge? Do I charge by the hour? Per task? I'm clueless! Anyone got any suggestions please?
I would do almost anything right now - short of selling my body, lol!!
    Good luck everyone :)
    Jen :)

    Hi everyone
I'd love to join in. I need to get £400 by the 15th of August. I'm not sure I'll do it because all things most people do to make a few extra pennies are the things I do to actually earn a living.
I did join in the £100 to £10 000 challenge but due to circumstances (my dd becoming ill) it fell by the wayside. But I really need to make this money so am going to really try my best

I'll work out how much I need to make each day and how I'm going to do it and report back later, ready for action:D

    Good luck everyone x
  • Hi JennyJewel and Seashell and good luck :)
  • Today is going to be a sit back and wait day methinks. Off to work at 3 and have done nothing 'extra' today.
I have some ebay auctions ending today so hopefully something will come of that :)
Otherwise, might look into doing some daily clicks on pigsback and topcashback, but that will amount to a few pennies. Also might do some more reviews on Dooyoo/Ciao. Haven't looked into how much/whether I've earnt anything for this, but it was quite cathartic getting all my opinions down in my own words. Surveys can sometimes feel a bit restrictive.
Right, off to do some clicks, good luck everyone :)
