  • £9.36 in my account this morning, £4.08 from crowdology and £5.28 from eBay sales, new total for £5 a day challenge is £85.63/£155 :)

Still waiting on £5 from mysurvey hitting my account...

Have agreed with my Mum that we will do the car boot sale next sunday, so should hopefully top up my total right at the end of the month!

Target 1 is now sitting at £2114.45, total remaining to find £885.55

  • £5 from mysurvey came in this morning, so my total for the challenge is now £90.63.

Target 1 now sitting at £2119.45 and only £880.55 to find :p

  • Made a few payments to my targets, also got a whole 32p interest this morning and transferred £6.34 as part of my VSP.

Target 1 now at £2182.65, only £817.35 to go!

    Target 2 now at £350

Hoping to do a car boot this month and also exhibiting at a wedding fair so should hopefully make the £5 a day challenge again! :)

  • Right, I've spent a little time reassessing my finances and savings and have decided to change things around a little bit.

I've decided to stop counting the money I leant my parents for fixing the car just now as it isn't in my account and I'm not sure when I'm likely to get it back :o

I've decided to change my total for Target 1 as this is just my ISA and isn't really for anything in particular (well I like to think it's for a wedding but since I'm not even engaged yet then it's not doing anything at the moment) and I should focus on getting the savings in for Target 2 as Florida will be here before we know it!

Therefore Target 1's total will be £2000 for now and I'll put my attention to Target 2 once Target 1 is completed, so only £72.26 to go! :p

In other news, £5 a day challenge is sitting at a measly £8.18 :o so will need to get my finger out with that! Nearly at payout with a couple of sites but not quite there! Lol

Also we've decided that we're going to start saving for a place of our own, looking to buy within the next 2/3 years. We've been renting privately from OH's parents for the last 3 years and think it's about time we looked to move on as we have fallen out of love with our house and would prefer somewhere else...

  • Waiting on the following payments coming through:

    £6.48 from TCB
    £9.80 from Viva
    £10 from VO

So that'll be £16.28 in to Target 1 when it comes as the £10 from VO will be a Tesco Giftcard.

Then I'll only need £49.15 to reach my target!

The £5 a day is sitting at £13.18 but will be up to £39.46 once all those payments hit. Got a few things on eBay but not much interest and have a laptop on Gumtree that someone has said they will buy on Thursday, not going to count that yet though incase they back out!

I've started my Christmas Shopping already, going to try and be organised this year!

  • Thanks mummy, I just decided that I should focus on what's happening right now, hence the reshuffling of the targets and starting on the xmas shopping.

I haven't got much, just a few bits and pieces but it's a start!

I've just shuffled about the standing orders on my account too so that they will no longer go in to the ISA (Target 1) and will instead go in to Target 2. That way I can start to focus better, I only set up a standing order for £50 a month but it helps to know that even if I can't make any payments with xmas coming up then Target 2 will be at £500 before xmas :)

Only problem with going to Florida, it's not cheap! :p

  • So I've hit the target for Target 1 and will stop actively saving there for now, however I will still put my VSP in to this account.

Target 2 is sitting at a lovely £450, only £2050 to go :D Still going to be competing in the make £5 a day challenge but have decided that I will wait for £50 of cash in my account before transferring it to Target 2, I like to see nice round figures :p

Still been saving the £2 coins, have had 25 of them over the last 3 days, you would think adding £50 to the terramundi pot would make it a lot fuller but apparently not, it still doesn't feel anywhere near full! Lol

Not having any luck trying to sell the laptop...
