    If I leave, can I have a leaving do?:p.

I hereby announce my retirement on the 19.05.2059:cool:.

Plenty of time to save for my retirement present, people:D.

Oh, by the way, yes the leaving threads are tiresome (apart from mine which will happen on said date):).

well said, anyone that does an I'm leaving thread should be banned as an automatic thing for saying that!
The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

4 people on the ignore list....Bliss!

All the years I've been here, and the one thing I've been looking forward to is stamping my feet and flouncing out - and Martin's taken that away from me!

Well, I'll show all of you...

    I'M STAYING!!!!

    So there!

    Good move.

I started a final 'I'm leaving' thread in the Arms and it got locked in minutes:T:T.

Hope everyone knows a joke when they see one:o:o.

Sorry to hear you're leaving Martin. But only you know when it's time to leave.

I don't agree with you starting a thread about it mind. You should have just left quietly.

    :)

I struggle to understand how someone can get such upset over a troll that they leave the site altogether.

At the end of the day, it is only words on a computer screen. Nothing more, nothing less. That's like saying you're going to stop visiting the library because you read something in a book that offended you. It's empty words that means nothing.. (or a bunch of 1's and 0's if we want to get technical :P).

Oooh, the day before my 90th birthday - fancy a joint party?

I, too, cannot believe that people have actually PM'd MSE Martin about people leaving. As if the guy doesn't have enough to do!
