 I must admit I have and do watch it some mornings, but one does wonder why people would want to air their dirty laundry in public the way they do on the Kyle show.when_will_it_end wrote: »i think a jezza fan club is in order here:T*SIGH*

The school leaving age is due to be raised to 18 soon.
Really?
When?
What if a child genuinely doesn't want to carry on in full time education?
My son is nearly 14 & has 2 years left at school (or so we thought) he hates it & won't be pleased to learn that he has to stay there for another 2 years.
I'm not going to be the one to tell him.
I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Young people will be required to stay in school, training or workplace training until the age of 18.
The Department for Education and Skills has confirmed plans to raise the school leaving age in England by 2013. This will not mean that pupils have to stay in the classroom or continue with academic lessons - but they will have to continue to receive training.0 -

Ive just googled it & thankfully he will just miss it by a year as he will leave in July 2012.
The Raising of the Participation Age means that all young people will continue in education or training to 17 from 2013 and to 18 from 2015. This will be the first time in nearly forty years that the education leaving age has been raised.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I honestly don't know whether he would be able to do that even.
He hates school as he has no friends & gets bullied.
I'm hoping he will be able to get a job of some kind.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
