  • I have no idea how they got it so wrong, and neither do they to be honest. Sent me a reply back stating that it had been signed by a name and asked me to confirm it?!?!?!?! how can i when i live in the other end of the country, as stated in my first email. Has taken them nearly 3 days to send a crappy reply mind you!! Have replied so shall see what tomorrow brings.

Have had some really good news today, i have had a payrise!!:j:beer::):D Its a pretty good one and is so going to help towards paying these debts off. Going to set up a standing order (??) for the extra in my wage plus the £200 i already save a month so i dont get used to having extra money. Have done rough calculations that show that it should be £500 or so i can save a month, and thats without adding extra days we do here and there. This will hopefully bring forward our debt free date by a bit. :D finally feel like luck is on my side and might be able to get somewhere with the debt.

Fantastic news rags!!!! I will have to call you riches soon! Lol.

A well needed boost in the right direction, both financially and mentally - a great feeling.

Good idea re the SO so you don't get used to it - I have learnt that even though I am a convert to MSE, given the chance my will power still isn't strong enough to resist temptation!

  • I am so stressed out at the min, it has dawned on me that i get married in 11 days!!! in that time i have to sort out holiday insurance, sort out holiday money, pack the kids, pack me and "the hubby" (LOL) ensure i have not forgotten anything for the wedding, pack for me to go to the hotel the day before making sure i take everything needed up there etc!!!!!!! argh!!!!!!

So true to form, i have got a clipboard and am in the process of making hundreds of lists! :rotfl:

My to do list today is:
    • Email acceptance form back for bus
    • Email timings to photographer
    • Email table plan and food choices to hotel
    • Keep adding to the lists :rotfl:
I am also making a friends daughters birthday cake this week as playing with icing is like a stress reliever! its a moshi monsters theme so lots of detail to keep me occupied!

I have only got 3 shifts left at work :D!!!!!!!!!!

It was my hen party on sat, and i managed to spend the grand total of £0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was also the stag do and im afraid i cant say the same for the hubby, £70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is fully on board for clearing the debts after the wedding so fingers crossed.

Money has started to come in for the wedding pressies, so far i have enough to take the card under £3K!
