Being in a grump was an understatement!!! I was down right moody and angry with the world and everything in it!!! I have shed a lot of tears that i had tried to swallow, given myself a good talking to and now feel exhausted but so so much calmer and less angry. Never known anything like it. I must apologise though about a comment i made bout the stay at home mums at my sons school, i meant no offence in the slightest and that was at the start of my meltdown.
So onwards and upwards, no more dwelling on the past or what could of been.
Money looking good at the mo, way out of the overdraft now thanks to the payment holidays. Just need to keep it that way. Gonna pay off the sofa's today when DH gets home from work (there are in his name so i cant do it)
Our mortgage company messed up the payment holidays for may and june, we complained and they have investigated, said its their fault, said sorry and offered us £100 compo and refunded the money they took and shouldnt. Form sent off this morning saying yes please and thank you. A little extra we didnt have to knock terrence down a little more.
Was a little naughty the other day and went to a*da. And came out with stuff i actually went for, and lots i didnt!!! But i did buy a big jelly mould for £1.50 and a set of six little ones for £1. Have made some sugar free rasberry jelly for pudding tonight and filled the little ones with sugar free lemon and lime jelly in the hope it means i dont have to buy as many yogurts for the kids as they scoff them like they are going out of fashion. Have got a yogurt maker in the back of a cupboard somewhere that i keep meaning to get out and make with the kids. Maybe something we can do in the hols when i get round to finding it. The ice cream maker has gone down a treat, although our first attempt at chocolate ice cream was a bit washy as didnt have any cocoa powder so used areo hot choc instead. Was nice but not at all chocolaty.

Had a bit of a one step forward, two stepa back moment at the weekend........... had the back breaks changed on the car on thurs and its mot (£181 later!!!!) and i didnt realise the handbrake was part of this. Parked in the car park at work, 2 hours later someone came to tell me it had rolled backwards and into the handymans car!!!!:eek::eek: Minor damage done to my bumper but the handymans car had a huge mondeo shaped dint in the bumper and back quarter!!!!! Thought we had put the excess up to £500 ish to bring the payment down, but when i have looked, on the renewal they have lowered the excess to £350. We had waved goodbye to the debt free fund thinking that it would have to go the excess, but now its only a little dint in the fund. Also forgot i had added protected no claims to the policy so hopefully it wont bite us in the bum next year when we have to renew.
Its hard trying to explain that yes the car has been involved in an accident and no, no one was in either of the cars!!!!!
Another payment went out to the sofas today, DH still not paid it off!! Means there might be some extra left over to put to the debt fund out of the money i have to pay it off.
Totted up my estimated wage for next month, and hoping to pay another chunk to the debt fund (given nothing else happens to cost money in the mean time)

Morning Rags
Oh how you remind me of me. I have only just written in my diary about not liking myself dur to moods at certain times. Slightly diff to what you said as mine are from feeling so tired on a night so I don't do my jobs then in mood with myself that nothing's done. Don't worry - it will all come out in the wash and you sound in a better place.
Sorry but I did smile just a little at the car rolling into another car with no one in it - it sounds like a comedy script. However NOT good that it's caused you what it has.

My mood continues to be a bit up and down at the mo, the last 3 days i have felt weak and lethargic (not good when boys were ill and full of cold) but feeling ok today. Just had my personal training session and have to say that seems to have helped a bit. Who would of thought exercise was that good for you! :rotfl:
Bank account still looking healthy, lets hope we can keep it up once the mortgage is back up and running next month. Our £100 has not been recieved by them yet, nor have they confirmed that yes they have recieved proof of marriage and are in the process of changing my name. Come to think of it, not had a new pin number card from the nursing council with my new name on either......................
With all the bad luck we have had recently, i think the tables are now turning. I won £20 on a lottery scratchcard ( bad girl i know), then won £2.90 on the euros and DH put 50p in a games machine whilst waiting for a coffee in the services (his old habits die hard!) and somehow won a tablet (not apple, but hey it will still work the same) and somehow that knocked a watch off as it fell!
We were looking into getting an apple one as joint birthday and xmas pressie but now dont need to!!
Started my new role at work this week (although the my new role is yet to have a proper job description to it) and its not as bad as i thought. Hoping to impress and learn quickly. Dont feel as though im doing as much work as i was working on the floor so not bothered about a pay rise, would be nice as could pay debts off more, but dont feel i would deserve one if that makes sense?!

Cracking on here, just done the gas and elec thing from the email....hopefully bag myself £70 extra in the cashback but also saving myself over £100 a year! Never compared gas and elec before thinking it would be very hard, WRONG!!!!!

All is quiet in the rags household as i seem to have misplaced my voice!! :rotfl:
My mood is on the up too, did a cake this weekend for a friend, and decided that we needed a family day so that paid for a day out to a kiddies theme park which the boys loved and allowed us to by treats in there. I tamed my guilty concence (sp?) of not putting it towards the debts by saving money taking a picnic with us. The boys love a good picnic! Good day was had had by us all. Think it was just what i needed.
The hubby is still trying to pay off the sofa's, tried 3 times yesterday with no joy. Think he loses the will with the press 1 for......... (who doesnt) and then doesnt listen and gets lost. Will do it for him when he gets home for him to talk when i get through.
My car is now in the garage being fixed. They are going to do the front bumper at a reduced rate for us (another incident at work but involving black ice, sure its a sign i shouldnt work!:rotfl:) so hopefully will cost no more than £600. Have got the excess saved up from bits i have hidden away from the rent the mil gives us so shouldnt have to take too much out of the debt fund to pay it.
All the minimums have come out this month, and we are still in the black!! amazing. Looking at the calender the hubby has 2 more paydays before the mortgage so we may just scrape it so we dont hit the overdraft when the mortgage comes out.
Childminder is on holiday this week so no payment needed there.
Gonna have a look at the budget later today for next month and then just need to tot up what has been spent this month against what i estimated. Should hopefully highlight where the extra money goes and where i need to adjust the budget.
Still no sign of the £100 the mortgage people offerend us, or confirmation of my change of name. May have to give them a bell later and see whats going on.
Got my approved food order!!!! Didnt cost me a penny as they had put the refund into my account with them for my lost parcels! Got a huge bag of scone mix where you add water/egg???? gonna do that with the boys later as they have both suddenly got an interest in food and cooking and always want to help. And they love scones! And it seemed easier than mixing it from the start, they can have a bowl each and add what they want to it. All part of my plan to stop buying treats......... although did buy enough biscuits, crisps, lunchbox goodies to last a few weeks from approved foods. Dont mind so much as not paying full price.December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

I still love AF just had an order come last Friday, I buy the mixes too I know on here they say you can make them cheaper but when your paying like £1 for 4 I'd say I can cope with it!
Fingers crossed car cheaper than you thought x xDebt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Thanks pipsmum, i love getting my order too, then struggle to find places to put things!!
I have been thinking about the best way to tackle these debts, spesh the huge loan. And i think the 0% cards are the way to go. Might mean transfering bits over as and when, but it will break it up into manageable pieces. Really hoping our credit score will be as such that we can do this and when the 0% runs out, apply for another.
That is the plan anyway.
Had to re-register for the tesc0 online banking for the cc. Meaning waiting another 5 days for a code thing again!!!! Luckily the hubby made a payment over the phone, they havent sent me a single statement yet.
