    Gemmzie, which iphone do you have? I might be getting my sister's in September, depending on how much it costs to get a new battery in it. It's the original one though and I've heard they're not much good for books? I keep thinking about saving my spare change for a ereader since there are so many free books about, but if an iphone will do the job then that's great!

    Rebecca's good, a real classic. I loved The Apple Tree, I was trying to remember which the short story was I liked and it was that one.

    So I made a good choice then Ames? Good. Have also just got to part 2 of Silas Marner, it's a really good, well-written and rich book. Although I have noticed that most of the women portrayed in the books are either simpering, retiring types waiting for a man to come marry them, old harridans with no wisdom or sense who spend all day gossiping, or headstrong women who fall quite sharply

    I'm being good, I really facy takeaway but I'm having two chicken breasts in a tomato sauce, which is a Mr.T ready meal but looks nice anyway.

    The left eye is amazing 20/20 vision - can read number plates from miles away. The right eye is still healing and blurry. The type of surgery I had is the one where they take off from the surface. It heals slower but I think the result for my type of eye is better. He's leaving the right slightly short sighted so that I lose my reading vision about 5 years later.

    ETA: The guy in the wheelchair was also pretty hot, and he had a cracking sense of humour....I'd date him....
