Sunil Dhown is his name and IRD Homes is his game.

I don't know how good or bad he is from personal experience. But if it does not work out for you and you mention it on the Internet, it appears that he sets his legal dogs on you. [I refer you to post 1 on this thread].

Personally, I would avoid him and his outfit on the strength of that alone.

There have been over ten thousand views of this thread and yet I've just realised that not one of us has thanked Lorddeni for his retraction post, which has helped so many to learn about Sunny/Sunil/Sunhil Dhown and IRD Homes. . We must put this right immediately.
There are now some thanks in place - other readers of the thread may wish to thank Lorddeni if they feel that his/her original post has helped potential Ts in any way.

A reminder of one of the quotes from IRD Homes own website:
"4. Some 70 days prior to the tenancy expiring IRD Homes will contact the tenants to discuss whether they are keen to renew their tenancy agreement. If the tenant is keen to renew then we will negotiate a rent increase on the subject property, which in current market conditions is significant. If the tenant does not agree to the new terms then with the landlord consents we will consider issuing the current tenant the necessary 60 day notice for possession and will seek to find a new tenant/s. IRD Homes will have a full 2 months to find a new suitable tenant. " (My highlighting)

That's great service, isn't it? Get in quick with no deposit, agree a whopping rent rise or we'll force you out. Whopping is my terminology for 'significant'. That'll be the agressive (their term) IRD Homes.

Sorry, I can't spell in my excitement. I mean 'aggressive (their term) IRD Homes'. I wonder if Sunil Dhown wrote the website text himself. Presumably 'where-is-he-now-ski' signed it off?

Good website for company searches. It allows searches by Post Code.

If you do a Director search for our saviour Sunil Dhown, it seems there are two incarnations in TW7. One with a DOB of 11/7/1963 and the other with a DOB of 7/11/1963.

The website is a bit shaky so it may die after a few requests.

edit - I've just realised. It looks like someone didn't proof read the forms and managed to transpose the Day and Month.

    Very silly.

Just was looking for a home to rent and IRD Homes. However friends have said avoid like the plague. I looked on the internet and there are loads of bad new stories about the company. Is this true? The company is run by a Mr Sunil Dhown.

Are they the type of company to disappear with someone's money or are they viable?
