Triker I don't know about your school, but we have a formula to decide whether to ok it or not.
No authorised hols in year 10 or 11, and no authorised hols if attendance is below 90% (even if abs due to genuine illness).
It isn't personal, probably. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

            do HW with DS2
 do laundry
 sort out activity week stuff
 do work stuff due tomorrow
 DW
 empty bins
sort meals - breakfast done for DS2 and me
put some laundry away that's been in the LR for ages
No sign of DS1 and DH has just got up, made himself a drink, got ready and gone out - probably to MIL's. Looks like I've done something to upset him, again. I know what you mean about the weekends, Cycling. Admittely, DH works on Saturdays, but that's it. He considers the evening and the whole Sunday to be 'his' and I can just about get him to do odd things with/for DS2. Enough grumbling. Off to see to DW and sort washing.
I could scream at the state of the house, but I keep thinking that I've only got two weeks to go before the holidays. A clean and tidy house won't pay the bills and I can't afford a melt-down. So work and a bit of house stuff it is!0

2 x HHC's at 11.00. I want to get out in the garden this afternoon so i need to get as much done in the house as i can before lunch. I'm going to get Ds1 to clean the car, he's not happy about it but tough, he's not spending all day on the xbox while i'm running around like a blue bottomed fly.;)
Just done a HHC in the kitchen and dot-to-dotting with the children. Will join you again :rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 :rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0

Hugs MrsC - No OH so I'm in no position to advise, but he does seem very easily upset.
First load on line and blowing dry, but just noticed that clouds are building up again - will need to keep an eye on them.0
