no obvious signs of trouble - ie he is in bed and not asleep on the bathroom floor like he was 2 weeks ago!!! - but have had a text from his mates mum asking if he was OK

Well he better be OK - he has an 11 hour shift at work today! He needs the money!

    Hello everyone

No time as usual to read back too far - but wanted to send support to Winchelsea - what a lot you are dealing with. Do take care of yourself amidst all that stress and rushing around.

Busy working day today so I won't be able to do bathroom *and* study - but my bathroom is really grubby :o so I must at least manage that. Will also try to wipe the rings off my desk as I study...!

So my own 'Bathroom To-Do list' looks like this (because I haven't done enough for a while and it is horrid.... sigh!....):

    Clean Bathroom:
Chuck out dead bottles; inspect the towels and change
    Put loo cleaner down loo
    Tidy the cleaning basket
    Shine the bath & surrounds
Put drain cleaner down the plughole and pull out DD's hair balls eek.gif
Windolene the shower screen and mirror
    Wipe the tiles
Wipe the skirting board, door frame and door
Wipe the bathroom shelf and contents
    Wipe the towel rail
    Wipe/straighten the corner stand
    Clean the sink
    Finish cleaning the loo
Hoover the floor for dust bunnies
    Mop the floor

    help.gif

Better get on with things then. First step - get dressed! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Back in a bit

listened to John Suchet talking about his wife's dementia on the radio yesterday - such a cruel cruel disease because it takes away the person you know and love.

DS came home high as a kite last night - he told me he didn't think he'd dance, but he did. Was attentive to his date (he's been in the same class with her throughout his time in secondary) as well as talking to his GF. And NOW he tells me there's to be a 6th form Prom! And it will be the same year as DD's leaving prom.

    *logs into e bay*;)

did bathroom and kitchen yesterday; towels on line; bedding in WM as I type.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

    Winchelsea big hugs.

Morning all, my sister got the house last night:j:j:j:j:j they move in on the 20th. At least that is one thing sorted.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Hi all

Sorry I was MIA yesterday as we had a day out in London.

My hip is a bit better, I am thinking it's sciatica as it comes and goes. I can cope with that, I was petrified it was something to do with the hip I had done when I was a baby!

Today is due to be very hot, we need to wash the car so will do that asap before the heat, then nip to the dump and then to staples for a new shredder as the old one is completely bust!

dusty - I saw that liverpool st was closed so guess that affected dh.

OK, well I'm up and dressed now.

    I've emptied the d/w
    Packed away the breakfast things
    Wiped the oven top
    Tidied a few things away
Put loo cleaner down the loo
    And read a few e-mails

Hmm. May make a cup of tea and then start on my studying while the loo cleaner does its stuff...

Will start working at 9:45am and work till 10:45am, then take a break and maybe tackle that bathroom....

See you in just over an hour
