Well, what an evening.....DD had a party to go to and me and one of the other mums decided(as lots of otheres) to drop kids aoff and pick them up later....all well and good.....ended up in the local pub, great, 1 or 2 then go and get kids. Friends OH texted to say he would pick up kids for us to go to SW, but we had decided yesterday we weren't going tonight anyway......so we ended up taking friends car back home, her OH taking us to another pub, picking up kids, occupying them before picking us back up at 8!!!!!! But I enjoyed a spontanious night out :)
DD now in bed.....stuff listed on netmums has been collected and the lady gave DD £5 so all happy!!!

FFP, so sorry, I forgot to answer you earlier..we go to the same place all the time..West Wales, we put the van on around Easter and it stays there till the end of September xx

As usual, didn't do as much as I'd hoped, but did spend time visiting a dementia care home, which we're going to need for DH. Looked at one yesterday too. Think we might go for the first, as a key factor is that it's quite near, while today's was a 21 mile round trip on horrible roads. Both were similar on the things that matter. May visit one more tomorrow.

Then went to visit DH in hospital.

Anyway, all this running around was tiring enough for me to want to give up on house jobs for the day, but good old Flylady (and all of you) got me going a bit, and I have cleared off my bedside table and POLISHED it (!!), and gone through a stack of papers that I thought needed attention. Turns out I'd dealt with most of the important ones, so decluttered the rest.

Hung up a lot of clean washing, loaded the DW, and now am here with a cup of tea, about to read my new embroidery magazine!

Oh, and I did make a loaf in my BM this morning, and came home to a lovely smell of bread. Now I'm living here by myself, I slice the loaf up once it's cold, and freeze little packs of two slices.
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!

:hello:Hi ladies! It's the weekend, yay!! I woke up abou 3am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so after a long day at school, I'm barely conscious now.

DS2 is at a local festival over the weeked, which involved a fair amount of runnng around with teenagers and tents this evening. I think I'll be 'on call' all weekend, but can probably grab a few hours gardening first thing in the morning before they all wake up though.

    I'll be flying tomorrow...

Garden watered and in true Dusty style gardening plans for the autumn are being formed in the grey matter.

Looks like your having the same sort of day as me! And I also planned what is moving where in the Autumn :D I think it's that time of year - stuff isn't quite looking as good as it was in the borders, and some plants are outgrowing their welcome, while others have finished and flopped...
Oh good,I thought I was being daft starting to think about next year when I still have tidying to do this year, but if the experts are planning for next year then it must be OK.
