Maybe not the best place to ask this question but here goes anyway! Having unlocked my new 3510i and dropped my Vodafone SIM in it I'm now playing around acesing the "Vodafone Live" web pages over GPRS nd while it works quite well I've found that quite often the graphics on the home page don't display. This seems intermittent so not something in the phone/GPRS setup. Also, even though I've selected "Always Online" for the GPRS connection, it always drops the connection when I finish browsing. Due to the relatively low resolution of the screen, some pages don't display their graphics at all (regional wather symbols for example). Has anyone else seen this kind of behaviour ?Retired so trying to save even more!0

I rang up the orange shop Yesterday. They said they would reserve me one for me to pickup this lunctime. I got there and the phone had gone up and with the £10 trade in for the old phone the new price would be £19.99. I only wanted it for a spare so I didn't bother.

I have been on a waiting list at the Yeovil store for 2 of these, picked up a message on my answer phone last night saying they were in stock and reserved for 48 hours. Went to pick them up lunch time and was told the price had gone up to £19.99 after trade in, bought them any way as still perceived good value.
Got them home only to find they were not new phones, chargers covered in dust, batteries already charged, some packaging missing, some internal packaging broken, one of the screens scratched/hair on the inside, manuals clearly used. On closer inspection the boxes had been resealed.
I suspect they are returns, refurbished, ex demo or something.
Phones returned to shop for refund, Manageress a mixture or embarrassed and surly. Refused to take an interest or even comment on the 'evidence', I think she knew.
Any one else had this problem of second hand phones being passed off as new ?0 -
Ive had no luck getting these as I seem to keep missing them and phones 4 u dont seem to have had any stock - despite their adverts.
quite a few stores online say these are refurbished phones
and orange told me that this phone is now out of production, so new ones are quite rare.
Virgin do a Nokia for 19.99 without the sim or for £10 more there is another with £15 of airtime - I think that one is colour & poly
Gnever take advice from broke or unsuccessful people

I bought 2 a couple of weeks ago, from an Orange shop, and they were brand new. They may be getting shot of their trash, now the new ones have gone.0 -
While in town today i nipped into the orange shops and they say they are expecting new stock next wednesday as there has been a big demand from all the other shops,i wonder why LOL but they said they still have lots at the orange warehouse so should be getting some delivered. So don't lose hope yet......©..®..(TM) NothingVentured.

Apparently the price is going up to £29.99 when they get the new stock in, but still with a £10 trade in.0 -
