Cheers Izzy_flint! What a great deal! It took a little longer than I thought in the shop filling out forms and waiting to have the phone registered (I'm so unused to this bureaucracy being one of the net generation!) but now I've got rid of two ten-year-old phones and got 2 brand new 3510s for £20 - wowee!

Where to unlock ??? I tried 2 free sites to no avail and paid £1.50 online with uniquephones.com which worked a treat. But I can't find any working freesites. Can anyone help ??

does anyone know the phone number for orange's head office (not help centre)

ive been into orange and they are refuseing to sell me more than one phone even though i got 1 the other day and went in again today to get my sister one and the manageress said i had had one the other day and there was no way they were selling me a second one

Got 2 phones today from Bristol Cribbs Causeway, they told me they had loads in stock. Swapped them for 2 old phones I had in the loft!!!
I've unlocked them as well so now I can use them on any network. Brill

Im having trouble getting these things in the north east

I rang the local orange shop today who told me they hadnt got any left but the gateshead store did, by the time I got there they had totally sold out.

phones 4 u are doing the same deal for £19.95 but with no trade in.

I then went to carphonewarehouse who said they would price match any deal but didnt have the stock in - they then told me of another branch who had the stock in but - they would do it for £19.95 but would not do the trade in.

Mmmm..... 3 x Options

1. Nip in when the Manageress is on her lunch hour

2. Get someone to go in for you

3. Be bold, approach the Manageress and ask for the name of her Regional Manager and his/her contact details.

To be fair, I'm aware of some person coming into the local Orange store where I live and where I got my old mobile phone exchanged taking... wait for it.... NINE old phones for exchange to the 3510i. I understand this was a small business who were upgrading their old set. To see the Manageress's point-of-view, she may take the side that it'll only be fair to ration them so that as many phones can go to as many people, and that seems a fair and valid viewpoint.

Anyway, good luck with your challenge and let us all know how you get on with your sisters phone!
