Another lurker here - you MADE me buy the Shred dvd and it arrived today. *shudder* Jillian Michaels is the devil and I nearly died doing level 1. _pale_

I'm so unfit! Was shouting at her saying "No, no, please don't make me do that again!" I gave up for the last 5 mins - was the longest 20 mins of my life.

Clearly none of this is my fault - Hypno, you made me buy it and Jillian Michaels is satan.

Naturally to recover I had to go and eat Nutella. Out of the jar with a spoon. :o So now I feel sick. :(:rotfl:

I take no responsibility whatsoever! Especially as you scoffed the Nutella yourself and didn't offer me any!

Shred does get easier! Honest! And you will see huge differences. Someone even told me at the weekend that normally when I lose weight, my bum is still big, but this time my bum is more in proportion with the rest of me.

    Yeah, thanks. I think :rotfl:

So, not a case of "You look fantastic" but "You normally have such a huge backside, where did it go?" Sounds like one of those people who never opens their mouth without first checking both feet will fit in! (I confess to being guilty of that sometimes myself....:o)

To be fair I live less than 10 min bus ride from central Edinburgh so its not as if it is far! :p Give me a shout if you need / want any Edinburgh related info. :D

Sashybo - :rotfl: Have some virtual choc to help with recovery! :EasterBun

Ermmmm interesting compliment Hypno! I had one similar recently - that I looked smaller from behind than before and I my chin is different!

She is the only person other than family to have noticed I've lost weight! Well... other than my boss saying I look "healthy" (translated as I don't want to get this wrong and insult you if you haven't lost weight so I won't ask/say outright! :rotfl:) His other comment was I was looking blue! - I *think* due to my clothes colours at the mo but I'm not 100% sure! :rotfl:

I started ice skating again in June and it is really having an profound effect on my size (not so much weight wise) but some of the moves really work out your thights/ abs/ and especially glutes! Forward Crossovers in particular! Class again tonight where I think we'll be learning the backwards ones!! Some of the others involve being in a sort of a 1 footed lunge position (bent front supporting knee with the other leg straight behind you a foot or so off the ice) while going backwards or forwards (or changing from one to the other) on different edges! I'll be doing over an hour of these moves tonight!

Wow, taka, that sounds fabulous! And FUN :j I quite like ice skating, but don't do it very often.

Thankfully, plenty of people have given me positive comments - mind you, it can't exactly NOT be noticeable, so I would have been more than a tad upset by now if no "blimey" comments had come my way!

Oh, and announcing on FB that I had lost a couple of stones meant that no one had any excuse of NOT noticing :rotfl:

I can report that putting it in the DVD had very postive results on the housework front- my windows now sparkle:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
