Wow, taka, that sounds fabulous! And FUN :j I quite like ice skating, but don't do it very often.
Thankfully, plenty of people have given me positive comments - mind you, it can't exactly NOT be noticeable, so I would have been more than a tad upset by now if no "blimey" comments had come my way!
Oh, and announcing on FB that I had lost a couple of stones meant that no one had any excuse of NOT noticing :rotfl:

I live close to the rink here and used to skate lots as a child so it seemed a good choice of exercise for me! I'm really, really enjoying relearning it all!
I've dropped 2 dress sizes since the start of May but am still very obese so it is harder for folks to notice. I've lost ~20% of the weigh I need to, to get back to a "healthy" BMI! :jMortgage free as of 12/08/20!

I take no responsibility whatsoever! Especially as you scoffed the Nutella yourself and didn't offer me any!
Shred does get easier! Honest! And you will see huge differences.
:rotfl: :rotfl:I'm sorry - there might be a spoonful of Nutella left if you want it! With a clean spoon obviously. :rotfl:
Don't worry I will persevere (although I may expire in the attempt). I want to be toned dammit!
What weights do you use? I think the ones I tried were too heavy cos I couldn't lift them properly, although that just might be my lack of arm muscle.:rotfl:
Sashybo - :rotfl: Have some virtual choc to help with recovery! :EasterBun
:rotfl:Thanks taka.

Sashybo, I use 1kg weights - I have bigger ones waiting in the wings, but I rather think they will be staying where they are

My early start caught up with me, and I have really struggled through the day. I am just having a coffee (decaf of course) then I am going to blitz the bathroom.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Thanks hypno, that's the weight I was looking to buy as the ones I tried to use today were 1.25kg and they were far too bulky for me. Still think I'll struggle with 1kg though.
Hope you're not feeling too tired, happy blitzing.

Shred does get easier! Honest! And you will see huge differences. Someone even told me at the weekend that normally when I lose weight, my bum is still big, but this time my bum is more in proportion with the rest of me.
Yeah, thanks. I think :rotfl:
I'm sorry this made me laugh, i'm so sorry thats so wrong isn't it! But it is the sort of thing I would say, you know being really proud of someone and telling them how good they were doing them yet totally insulting them at the same time!:o

Well, DD is doing a jolly good job of painting the utility room - I could be tempted to let her loose on some more rooms throughout the house over the summer hols....
I have given the cloakroom and hall a deep clean, and will do the lounge tomorrow evening, then upstairs on Saturday right through, so it is clean and tidy for when I come home from hols.
But I think I will be stopping now - it has been a loooong day!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
