Nothing to report in banking except my £10 scratch money is in, so that has been transferre.d to another pot......20p received on a scratch this morning so I am on my way to another payout (in about 3 months time, lol).

Today I want to have a lazy start - until say 9am, then a productive couple of hours doing the cupboard under the stairs......might also tackle a kitchen cupboard or two as well if I get on alright with the understairs one!

Football this afternoon, in the pouring rain, ho hum! Plus a quick visit to the supermarket for energy drinks for tomorrows race (Tesco own brand cost a fraction of Lucozade from the vending machine at the venues!), and to fill the car up with petrol.

Storecupboard dinner tonight is macaroni cheese and sausages....perfect after-match food!

So.....next job - coffee and porridge. Have a good day everyone xxx

Sounds like a nice day to me! :)

Thanks for the tip about own-brand energy drinks. I don't usually buy them, but went to get a paper after my run and just spent 99p on lucozade "sport"

I still can't believe I did that...... will check them out when I go this morning.

Have a good day and Come on Canaries (or is the term - let's be 'avin you!!!! :rotfl:)

We love Delia.......drunken words of encouragement et al :D

Tesco own brand ones are 99p for 4 (or they were last week) - usually they are £1.49 for 4 so even full price they are much better value than Lucozade or Powerade. And out of a vending machine the saving is even more, where Lucozade is often £1.50!!

My two are quite happy with them. Morrisons ones are not so nice apparentely, but they too are very reasonably priced.

Right, the cupboard under the stairs beckons.......I am armed with ropes, crampons, and lunch, should I get lost in there. I will probably find a survival blanket and small tent while I am in there, so should be able to cope for some time

I've done the survey OO, but you can tell DD that I was disappointed not to be awarded 5 prize draw entries to win an entry for a prize draw to win 5 points that I can encash when I have reached 100,000 points.

    :D

I've done the cupboard under the stairs - all sorted, hoovered, and orderly.

One black sack for the rubbish, one charity bag full ready for collection on Monday, one bag of XOH stuff to deliver, and various things put in their rightful places elsewhere in the house/garage.

All shoes have been paired up, sandals have been put away for the winter, and what is no longer worth keeping has been binned.

We do still have rather too many coats and jackets, though, between us, but that is a project to do with the children later. They are all hanging up, though, so that is an achievement in itself!

Might tackle the saucepan cupboard in a while......
