And so we enter September - the month that marks new school years, the arrival of autumn, and the Christmas displays in the shops!

Another month has been survived. I am solvent, I am healthy and I am employed. My children are fit and happy. So I will take those positives and tackle this month with the knowledge that things could be a lot worse.

Well Jamie, as the seasons change, and it gets colder and darker, I need to make more of an effort to stay positive otherwise I just want to hide under the duvet until spring - I think this autumn/winter is going to be quite tough for me for lots of reasons so I am trying to offset it early in the hope I can beat the blues!

So, on a positive start, my mortgage payment has come out - now you may all recall that when I had to remortgage after OH left, I had to lump together my secured loan and mortgage onto the new mortgage......well, today's payment sees the secured loan element of that now GONE! So, I am well and truly eating into my "proper" mortgage now

It means, though, that whilst the bigger number in my signature will go down each month by a good amount, the smaller figure which is my "signature for stalkers" will go down slower now as it only includes a 0% figure and my barclayloan. The MFiT challenge, however, is now more real for me, which is something I never thought would happen!

10ps only on the scratches though, so some things remain the same!

I thought September heralded the arrival of Easter Eggs in the shops, either that or my local one still has some of last Easters cream eggs lurking.
