I can't believe its september tomorrow and the last week of the school holidays (although there is an element of to getting a bit of me time back for running etc)

Yes, I was more than happy with my time, thanks! I was aiming for 2 hrs 23 so to get 2:17 did me just nicely, although I am still aching rather a lot today

It is v.chilly out there today although the sun is shining so it could be a lot worse. However, my office could do with a blast of heating in right now......may have to go and buy thick tights as an alternative!

I have signed up for the September NSD challenge - I always struggle with these things and have pledged for 10 NSDs in September, so hopefully that will help focus my mind. Anything in envelopes is obviously within a budget so will not count for the purposes of the challenge, but anything else has to be included.

It was freezing here this morning H...could see my breath as I was hanging out the washing! Its glorious now though and we've been to the beach for a couple of hours

Much warmer outside now, but my office is still chilly......but perhaps that is because my muscles are so achy they are feeling the cold somewhat!!

But the sun is shining and the sky is blue.

Am glad to be home and able to take my shoes off - I have two black toenails with blisters beneath, that in due course will fall off but right now they are horribly painful

Beef in the slow cooker is smelling good - dumplings have been added and I will put a bit of cheese on the top and brown it under the grill before serving.....yum yum yum.
