You lot wear me out with all this shredding, lol! Well on the decluttering front I am waiting for one of the charity shops to pick up the table from under my stairs. I've been surprised at all the emotions it as thrown up since they said they were coming. My living room is in a mess, again, cos of all the stuff that was on and under the table (and there is still stuff behind it that i can't get at till they move the table). Why does decluttering always lead to such a mess. I just so hope they turn up after all this.

I seem to have been decluttering for ever and it doesn't seem any different here.

Off for another coffee and then I must sign up for my next OU course as I can no longer use the excuse I am waiting for my exam results.

there isn't a "shred for life" dvd......

But perhaps we could film and distribute our own version of the "Shred Maintenance Plan for people who don't want to find themselves sucked into an exercise regime but seem to have, nonetheless, been brainwashed into it"

    Catchy title methinks.....

  • I'll probably do the level 1 for ever. Have to say i am chuffed that my stamina has built up and the inches are going down. Housework took a dive though :P DD2 decided to have a go at yogalates- it was awful-some of that was due to the wishy, washy voice and the arty video was 15 mins of her posing on the beach etc. She couldn't have stuck an hour of it because they weren't motivating- unlike 20mins and its done, dusted and does what it says on the tin. :)

I tried that yogalates thing - an awful Aussie woman with a long Lorraine Chase type plait.......I found myself getting really wound up by her voice, which sort of goes against the calming relaxing ideal, somewhat!

Just off to buy polyfilla and sandpaper.....no prizes for guessing what I have planned for the weekend :p

Well It's finally gone (the dining table) but apparently the wooden curtain pole was too old fashioned for the charity shop lol! Not saying much for the rest of my house as I only took it down because when my kitchen sink was moved the curtains kept falling in sink. So now I have to sort all that but at least it will be an opportunity to get rid of more stuff.
