    We don't have loft space - ceilings in bedrooms all slope in corners - so no space that is usefull for anything other than wasps building homes up there - we've had a few wasps nests up there - over the years we have cursed this fact (the no storage one) - but at least I have no loft space to declutter - cos if I have any space - it HAS to be filled - it is a Law isn't it?????????????

    Talking of which I should be tidying my craft - shouldn't take too long just a dust and quickish sort out as I did a BIG sort out not too long ago.

    How much longer with the students now?

    10 more days with the student, milann, then I am done (I think) for the summer.

    Souk, your wardrobe-fest sounds fab! I know what you mean about "workwear" though, it does indeed take the shine of things that would otherwise be fab to wear!

    My loft space went from a huge space above a very big bungalow to the 2 tiny cupboards in the eves in a loft conversion.....you do some serious decluttering when you're forced to.

    My tiny space now only holds suitcases and christmas decs....the suitcases hold all the compacted stuff I can't bear to get rid of like DD's first shoes, 1st birthday dresses, handmade shawls etc.

    If I had more room, I'd keep more stuff.....we all expand to fit.

    :mad:shred alert:mad:

    well after a month of procrastinating i finally have just finished shred day 1 (enough energy...just...in my fingers to type) but i feel conned by you all...i thought it was 20 minutes....but NO:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    it is 27 minutes with warm up and cool down....
    i managed to cope with the warm up quite fine which lulled me into a small sense of smugness......oh how deceived can we be...

    i am alive but realised i still can't do sit ups at all - even anita's ones, so i think i shall have to practice those separately...my legs are shaking a bit. however i measured myself before and want to see 2 inches off my waist and each thigh, that is my goal.

    day 1 done....29 to go:eek::eek:

    ps i TOTALLY BLAME HYPNO (just so know!!!!) :(

    Was watching Help ! My house Is Falling Down ! on Ch4 last night and saw their loft conversion. DS2 (who is showing signs of possibly being a man who actually gets on with DIY stuff when he is older) said 'oh we can do that, we'll empty the loft box by box and I'll board the floor, and move up there !'

    So I have an accomplice !
    My DS is showing signs of wanting to board the loft floor; I think its just so he can spread out a bit though.

    PS. amazed at how cheaply(?) they did all that work. Oh that it was so easy if you weren't being televised doing it.
