There are many situations when a little blue box waiting for you would be so welcome.

My dream is to having nothing in my loft except Xmas decs and suitcases.
Think it will be a case of 'dream on' :rotfl:

yep. I have that dream. I even have a special dream ;) where the loft has a proper floor in it and you aren't risking life and limb to get to the Christmas tree. (stop mumbling about me needing to get out more!)

    Morning Hypno,
I've always wanted a garage but I'm actually starting to think it is a blessing. We have a strange little 'shed' attached to the house which is home to things I don't even know we have....
Because I only need to go in for recycling boxes I don't 'see it' very often. But it is on the list.

Have a peaceful day at work.

I have one of those also. It is Spider heaven. the roof leaks and the carpet is rotting. its a long way down the list.

    night all xxx

I am sure you will get the loft you always dreamed of, buffy. I dare not even go into mine because it is just so full of more "stuff" that simply the thought of having to sort it, is scary enough!

You have done so well recently at decluttering.....keep the door on that loft shut for a while. Its time will come! Hope you have an OK day.

I'm at work, then have a busy evening, so no danger of the loft being explored in my house today!

  • Was watching Help ! My house Is Falling Down ! on Ch4 last night and saw their loft conversion. DS2 (who is showing signs of possibly being a man who actually gets on with DIY stuff when he is older) said 'oh we can do that, we'll empty the loft box by box and I'll board the floor, and move up there !'

So I have an accomplice !

Hi Hypno, just caught up after my few days away and glad to see you are busy as usual! Inspired by you lot (and because I love it when the money comes in!) I have ebayed some clothes from my old job today and got a charity bag ready with the ones that wont sell. I too am trying to smarten up for the new job and looking at my wardrobe as a starting point. having bought virtually nothing for the last few years that didn't come from one of the shops I worked in it was a joy to go looking other places last week. My current stuff is smart and glam but for me it's also been workwear which has taken the shine off big time. One of my boys wants some fashion advice so we are going shopping tomorrow. His payment for me Gokking him will be lunch so that works for me! XXX
