    Hi Everyone,

Hypno - well done on completing the lust. I wish I had your level of energy!

I've just caught up on today's conversation and it has really made me think. I hols on to so many things because I really want to be able to have it or use it but often the time has gone especially clothes. I hold oncto them in the hope that I'll fit back into them one day. I but current clothes cheaply because I don't want to be the size I am. Do I think i' worth it - no. But then I wonder where I wasted all my money and I somehow justify spending on things that I think I need/will use/have been convinced it's great.

Thank you all for being so thought provoking!

    Urg x x

Lofts - my loft at the moment is nearly empty - the loft at the new place will *not* have stuff in it - just lots and lots of insulation :) I do have much less storage in the new place tho, and I can see its going to be a problem. Ah well - one step at a time. Off to Bedfordshire now, one of Pania's original sayings :)

Morning all - my alarm went off at the same time as it did every day last week, so why was it so much more difficult to get up today! I really don't feel as though I have had any time off! Ah well, back to the normal routine today and the hope I can maintain enough energy to carry me through :o

Have a good day, whatever you all do, I am off to bank and scratch and try to wake up!

  • Morning Hypno,
I've always wanted a garage but I'm actually starting to think it is a blessing. We have a strange little 'shed' attached to the house which is home to things I don't even know we have....
Because I only need to go in for recycling boxes I don't 'see it' very often. But it is on the list.

Have a peaceful day at work.

Morning Hypno, hope work is not too much of a shock to the system :o
Try to remember your first week off and what a good time you had - though I know that seems a looong time ago. You've achieved loads this week and when you walk in the door this evening you will feel very pleased with yourself :T

Now that makes me feel old, I left school in 1981. Still haven't finished the tapestry clutch bag I started in the first year in 1976.

Don't feel bad - think about poor old Mr Daffs who left school before I was born :rotfl:

(mind you, I hadn't been born long in 1981..)

Well done on all the decluttering! You're doing a fab job!

The plan (!) is, that when the garage is done, we will bring everything down from the loft and put it in the garage where there will, by then, be space to sort it properly in one go, rather than bring down a box at a time that will seem to take forever, or to bring down a whole load of stuff that gets put on the landing "just for a day or so" and remains there for the next 12 months (or more!).

So, garage first, then the cabin, then the loft.....I have a lot of work ahead of me!

yes, that's the best start to a Cunning Plan: knowing what works for you and ensuring the ground is prepared... have a good week!
