Only been away for the weekend, and it took a lot of catching up on your thread Hypno, there were so many posts

Didn't manage any Shred, I thought the hotel guests in the room below would wonder what was happening But tons of walking/shopping.

Capsule wardrobe update - well I'd a big gap in the knitwear department, well I'd thrown most of it out as long over due throwing/worn out, fortunately TKMaxx had just started their knitwear session, and got some classic sweaters and cardies. Also bought a couple of full price items, I'd been searching for months for them, a Chanel look breton style striped T-Shirt from Whistles, and a similar style cream and navy sweater from American Apparel - at least I used a cash back credit card. So only a couple of things on the list now.

New me update - Well after a nice Sunday lunch with wine with eldest DS, decided to walk off the lunch/wine around town with OH. Body shop was open and empty except for lots of staff with nothing to do and a big advert saying to ask about makeovers, so got up the courage (the wine helped), and went in and had one

It was really good, I've now got some updated products and techniques to bring me upto date, currently got them laid out on the dressing table in the right order to practise Planning to practise for a while, work out what works and doesn't and then maybe try another makeover somewhere else to try to improve on products/techniques a bit more. It was handy having OH there, as it gave an opinion other than the shop assistant, so I'd recommend taking a friend.

Just got to get back on the diet and exercise straight and narrow.

Pleased to hear that your 'new me' is going so well Hypno and all the others joining in here are enjoying having a go too :T:T:T.

I did a similar thing with Bare Minerals earlier in the year, Se, and it did wonders for my confidence, so good for you!

I am off to the theatre this evening, having been invited by MiL. I can't remember what it is that I am going to see, but the cast is quite famous so hopefully should be reasonably good......so a quick turnaround this evening - gourmet meal of crumpets with butter for dinner, and a quick freshen up, then away I go again.....
