I sooo will ask her as I am a nosey cow and want to know! She has a brother too, but he's older.

I am 95% sure that Holly's first word (other than mama, dada) was Elmo!
How cool is that ha ha? She loves her talking Elmo (I only gave it to her to play with last week when he appeared on Milkshake) and she talks to it with this funny high voice and wide mouth that is only reserved for him. MIL and SIL were there when she said it and they just looked at each other and we all thought it sounded like it but couldn't be, but she has repeatedly said something like it since when playing with him!

Well let me know when you've seen her as I am [STRIKE]also a nosey cow[/STRIKE] interested

    Holly sounds ever so cute
    Hellooooooo

I go missing for a week and a new thread appears :)

EA - I ate the goji berries out of my graze box last night and then spent the early house hugging the toilet, it's the first time I've reacted to anything they've sent.
Welcome back! I thought of you the other day as Martin wrote a new article on banks no longer being allowed to dip into your accounts to pay off loans etc. (or something, I didn't read it properly) If you search your name you might find the link I posted to it :)

How sweet of Katie to pick you flowers :A

    And goji berries are disgusting.

Thanks MDW, was lovely and lovely, and seems like it happened to someone else. Strange as it was less than a week ago but it soon goes!

    So pleased it went well.

How did everyone react to the surprise?

Say belated happy birthday to Ben for me.

We'll all be waiting to hear the result in the morning , EA!

Fitz- no helpful advice but I just wanted to offer a hug. Can I be nosey and ask who's having Holly the other days when you're at work?

I got these nappies for £2 in Boots. They only had one pack left, and when I went into the other Boots in town none of the nappies were reduced. Also no toiletries or baby food reduced in either.

I am working 3 long days and hubby compressing his hours so he will work 4 long days:

    Mon - DH
Tue - MIL (my parents take over at 4pm to let her go home at reasonable time and to include them!)
Wed - CM (my parents to pick at 4pm again)
    Thu - Me
    Fri - Me

As we are both compressing our hours, it will be a long day for us all! And MIL will be coming on Monday nights to stay over (can't wait haha!!!) so at least there is only 1 morning when we all need to get out of the house early, as she can deal get H up and do breakfast on the Tue.

What are your childcare plans, and when do you go back?

Before nursery ended I bought just a small bunch of flowers for the teacher and nursery nurse. Keira got a letter today from the nursery nurse thanking her for the flowers, saying they are giving off a nice scent on her windowsill and she can't wait to see her again in August.

I shed a little tear, it was so nice. She must of got our address from the contact sheet (not that I care) but that's so lovely!

Surprise went well. Only had trouble from MIL and she knew about it in advance. Ben's birthday has been postponed until his ankle is better so we can have a really fun day out. Poor thing has been poorly for Xmas and his birthday now.
Too many children, too little time!!!

That sounds like a good plan. Does MIL live near you?

Because OH works shifts, he is available about 60% of the time so he will have H when possible, then both my mum and MIL have reduced their hours at work so will look after H on the days when OH can't. I'm doing 3 days a week so I'm hoping that it will mostly work out that OH will have H 2 days, then either my Mum or MIL the other day.

That is very sweet of the nursery, BM.

Evening all. We are back from doctors and allotment - I am now in posession of a pack of progesterone only pills, so lets see how I get on with them. I can't wait to go back on the ones I was on before (no more PMT - woohoo!), but these will do for now I'm sure. Assuming I don't get any weird side effects.

And we both managed to soak ourselves watering at the allotment, but it is such a warm day it doesn't really matter - it is just serving to cool me down a bit.

Izzy is exhausted - she has only slept about 5 mins all day (dozed off in the car on the way home) and we have cbeebies on, so I keep having to remind her to eat her tea (which she normally would have eaten 2 hours ago. We are having a wonky day today!

How come you're on the mini-pill now instead of your usual pill ladybird?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

She wouldn't prescribe me the normal one while I'm breastfeeding. I told her that afaik that only matters to start with, but she was the doctor and knows best of course. ~pulls face~ I don't mind too much so long as I get on with this one, but if I don't I will see if I can see someone else when I go back.

She also tried to persuade me to try the coil and didn't believe me when I said I knew several people who had had the coil go missing. I'm not a irresponsible teenager - quite capable of taking a pill every day thankyouverymuch!
