MFD, if I had found a great CM for DS1 (don't get me wrong, she was good at the time, but looking back, she wasn't great) I'd have stuck to a CM and be more for CM than nurseries. Or if I had a crappy nursery. But then again, I don't think DS1 would have done well in a nursery either.

But I was also told by a few CM that DS2 would be 'too difficult for them' due to his disabilities (which were far more time consuming at the time), so that did put me in a bad mood with them all. Whereas his nursery welcomed him with open arms. They also now have a few other special needs kids too, one little boy in the 0-3 unit with severe CP and his mum had the same problem as me, no CM would touch him.

It's just different things for different kids.

Right, I need home insurance help. How do I make sure they cover the iphones?

there is a newly registered childminder here specifically for children with physical disabilities.. she has had loads of modifications to her house etc.. hoist installed, downstairs bathroom etc.. things are changing slowly!

shamefully to admit he's had two baths since he was born.....

and hes starting to get a bit sticky now.....
might try the flannel thing tonight though......

I'm only upto 3 baths and mine arrived before yours - slippy screaming newborns who poo in the bath soon turn into cute happy splashy babies who get more baths - once they can sit up anyway

Thanks all - I've messaged them and they asked me how to add a card to their acct so I'm hopeful this means they'll do it and send the payment through properly. Dunno how they have 168 feedback and not know how to work Paypal?? I also want the payment ASAP as I was going to convert to dollars and use to buy a netbook in he States :o (and withdrawing the funds takes a couple of days so I realllly don't want to wait for eCheque to clear).

Permission to crawl into the white padded room and rock back and forth slowly? Chris is being a nightmare recently, wallpaper tearing (the one bloody room that didn't need decorating as well!), peeing everywhere (spent an hour cleaning the sofa this morning and he just went, stood up and pee'd on it!), he poo'd in his bed! As in, sat on his bed, poo'd and came back down stairs without saying a word. Broke Ambers cot mobile. Smeared some poo (from his bed) on the stair carpet. Took a cup outside and smashed it. Put water and soap/shampoo etc all over the bathroom floor and toilet seat... and thats just today.

I could cry right now. Or throttle him. Or throttle him while crying. Trying to remain calm because if I lose my temper, I will say something I'll regret.

Don't want to seem stalkerish, but....I saw your DH comment on your status on FB and was intrigued by his DJ name! I wondered what kind of DJ he was so googled him and found his My Space page. I saw his school and I knew my friend went to school there too. I asked her if she knew the name (as it's not that common) and she thinks she remembers the name, but doesn't know him.

Her name is ******* - and I think she is a year or 2 older. I will delete this shortly in case she finds me talking about her haha. :o Let me know if he knows her. I am meant to be meeting her for lunch tomorrow, but depends how Holly is.
