ETA - Avvie was changed after the hen night, but I hadn't posted much. Thanks, her tongue is hanging out in a cheeky pose.

She does look very cheeky but very cute with it :D

ETA 2 - The snot is dripping off her and she doesn't want me to wipe her!! It's non stop.

This is what's driving me daft, the constant snotfest and the screams if you wipe it! I've changed tops twice today because every so often she flops forward on my shoulder and wipes her face across me :(

Aless I haven't a clue how echeques work sorry, is there no way of explaining to the buyer and asking could he paypal it instead?

Maz I've never tried the easy ups either, we use cloth in the day and sposies at night but I thought they'd be handy for on holiday and trips out when she's bigger. She's only 15lb so it'll be ages until size 6 fit her! :rotfl:Looking on Boots website the expert toiletries are bogof too, they weren't advertised as this instore but were all reduced to 50p, I might go back later.

S wont sleep in a travel cot, so he sleeps in a buggy at the CM. We just have a cheap umbrella fold one, but she has a big uber buggy thing which is almost like a armchair on wheels, and he sleeps in that. Its handy for her cos she can rock him to sleep while still paying attention to the other kids. If she put him in a travel cot, he would cry when she left him!

boo - it is Paypal...I think it's for high value things as they can't do the normal instant bank transfer for over a certain amount. So it functions like a cheque, just deposits into your Paypal acct when it clears. PITA, I didn't realise it would do that when I calculated the timing for selling it. :o

eta: I lie...it's actually when people don't put a credit card on their acct as a back-up funding source.

Aless, can you send the phone onto a trusted friend, and then ask them to send it to the Bidder once you get confirmation? I know that's twice the postage, but at least the thing would be safe.

Aless, its cos they've paid wrong or not got their paypal account set up properly. I had it happen to me with a phone I sold, it turned out they hadnt confirmed their paypal account against their bank or something? Then OH set up a ebay account and didnt finish the paypal registration, and he made the payment as normal but it went through as an e cheque. It does take anywhere between 5-9 days to clear in my experience :(

Sami, Ive always been PAYG. I only top up £10 every few months. £10 has been known to last me 6 months.

So DH bought me a PAYG iPhone. I was given a sim card and told to call and get my number switched to this new sim. Once switched, I would get my 1 years free internet allowance (for when out and about).

I eventually get around to swtiching my number to the new sim after my £10 top up in the o2 shop gets swallowed up and I get spammed with texts telling me to top up. I now know the 3G was on and automatic updates, so anytime I went out, I was being charged.

I call up to get the number switched from my old sim, to the new one and accidentally give DH's number. I realise and tell her to stop, give my number and answer the security questions, which were, where did you last top up, how much, what tarrif do you have (my answers are very different to what DH answers would be). Later that night, DH's number is cut off and his number is on the new sim.

I called up yesterday and was told it was my fault, nothing they could do, DH now has my years free internet for iphone.

DH calls up and says hang on, why did you ask secuity questions if the wrong answers were given and you changed my number bla bla bla. Basically, if as they claim, I made a mistake and gave them DH's number, the questions I answered were wrong so they should never have switched his number.

Finally, Dh's number is switched back to his old sim, my number is switched to the new sim and I get my years free internet.

And then my mate, who bought the same phone as me, from a different o2 shop says 'oh they did all that for me in the shop so it was all set up for me' and gets a dirty look from me.

    Very confusing eh?

House insurance all bought and sorted out :D £180 in the end with the accidental damage, cover for the iphones and TV specified and £45 cash back :D I'm very happy.

Car insurance still to do. :(

I'm going to be soooooo poor this month :(

Aless - contact the buyer, tell them unless they send a proper payment now then they won't get it until you're back, I had an echeque that took about 2weeks to clear once!

oh Tia what a faff!! I lost my free year because I lost the Sim packet with the sim and all the details in it  I also can't make the free wifi in starbucks work even though I have done the online set up for it (for starbucks card holders) annyhoo there is a distict wiff of poop coming from the little boy with his head in a gorilla tub :p
