Thanks Tara. No such luck so for. I'm back on the sofa feeding a clingy toddler. We are both a bit germy and I think there are rumbling teeth too, so someone is feeling sorry for herself. I think I'm going to have a [strike]prat around on the internet[/strike] job search while she sleeps on me at this rate, but never mind. DH is working tonight, so I can go to bed when I like without any rolling of eyes and moaning.

our local paper has classy job adverts. If I wanted to be an escort or appear in adult films I'd be all set!

Hi Fitz, CM finding is indeed a mind field and I feel blessed like MFD to have found a good one. You seem to be considering all the right things in your search, and the currently fruitless need to look plus the thought of returning to work must be very disheartening for you. Hugs for you.

MFD - We talked about contact lenses a while back. Just picked up a three months supply of two weekly lenses. So will be glasses free as of tomorrow. :D

Last nights girlie night didn't happen. We are officially crap and can never get organised. Hopefully attempts to re-arrange for Friday will work.

    Fingers crossed Em!!

Just reading your sig - you are doing really well losing the weight, how are you doing it if you don't mind me asking?
Weight watchers at home - I just ordered the books over the phone. I refuse to pay someone £5 a week to weigh me! Although I could probably do with the discipline TBH, I havent lost any weight for about amonth now. Although I have only put on 1lb! Getting back on it Saturday, when OH is back to work and I have some control over what is actually eaten without getting moaned at, or accompanied to the supermarket and forced to buy junk!

Good luck with the house Em!
Did your OH decide if he was going to do the course he was interested in? I remember you discussing it a while ago, but can't remember if you made a decision or not as you had some reservations.
He left his admin job to work as a healthcare support worker in the local hospital! He works either 7.30am-3.30pm, 11am-8pm, 7.30am-8pm, and has some night shifts coming up soon as well. He is enjoying it but I'm really struggling TBH, he has always put S to bed every night and he just doesnt like me putting him to bed. I have only managed to put him down one night in the last month without tears from one of us :o
The long days are the hardest, as he is up at 6am and wakes S every time without fail, and S gets confused cos he's walking out the door as soon as he's up and then doesnt see him until the next morning :(

Thanks all for the luck wishes for the house! xx

Apparently Boots have got lots of baby bits reduced including nappies, toiletries etc. This time last year they cleared out loads of stuff because I remember getting bottles, dummies, steriliser, bibs etc all at 75% off so may be some bargains to be had.

Now why didnt I notice anything when I bought nappies the other night :( although I did get 2 for £14 on Pampers (spreadsheet upto date if anyone wants info) plus my free pack of Huggies

Anyone going to Morrisons for shopping soon?

I seem to be doing really well out of a certain survey site lately, just counted up my luncheon vouchers and i have £52!! And that's only since Xmas cos i spent £48 worth on my Xmas shop :D

Took me 3 years to reach £50 with Yougov, and their surveys are just as long/boring

Beenie and Ladybird - could I ask which survey site you're getting the luncheon vouchers from? PM me if you prefer. I'm just getting back into surveying to get some extra treats while i'm on smp

PM me with the link as well please. I already do the postal survey, Ipsos surveys or my surveys... yep agree Beenie Yougov not the best but every little helps.... I can sort links for the others if you want.

I think I'll run over now, they finish at 11 but it's literally 2 mins away from home. I know they think I'm a paranoid mummy because I seem to be there permanently! I need to book an appointment for me too, I've got a mole that seems to have changed shape in the last day or two so need it checking over and a check up on my knees. We may as well get season tickets to the Dr's!
Between going about my anaemia and Alice's whooping cough we've been to the Doctors sp much that Alice is constanly pretending to be a Doctor or making appointments on the phone. She usually diagnoses me with bleeding and/or an asthma cough.

The survey site i was referring to is Pinecone. You can't sign up though, and we can't refer you! The only way to sign up is to find an advertising banner and click on it. Give me a sec i think i saw a link to one

Tigs - did interview go oK (Does anyone else know how Tigs got on with her interview...dont remember seeing anything last night ?)
I didn't post last night, that's why! Interview went okay, not brilliant but not bad for my first interview in a year - and I've suffered badly from baby brain in that time (nobody warned me that I have to give up brain cells to make a baby!) ;)
