Ah, yeah she was totally talking out of her arris... The combined pill can affect milk supply if it's not fully established but at Izzy's age it's fine...
I never got on with the minipill when Aimee was a baby... It gave me bi-weekly periods...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Your childcare arrangement sounds good Fitz, and it will be lovely to have Thurs and Fri off and nice long weekend
GISI - Ace that you have managed to sort yours with DH and family. Not sure if I have said on here but we are putting T into nursery for the 2 days I am going back to work (Tues and Weds). Always thought I would not do this (think I always thought deep down I would be a SAHM) but money would be too tight not to go back to work and the nursery we have decided on seemed really interested in T and also heard lots of good reports from other parents that use them.Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
omg I could do with some wine as well. My head and back are killing me - we NEED to get a proper desk chair sorted as right now I sit in a hard back/seat wooden dining chair!!
Well eBay has turned into a charade...the original buyer was like, "oh my bank's messing me around I can't pay after all." ARGH. So I do a Second Chance Offer and the person messages me back asking if I have the original receipt. "I'm like, no, durrr, I won it in a competition?" They haven't come back yet, but in the meantime the original buyer has SWORN they've sorted the issue and can now do an instant payment. ARRRRRGH. The thing is, the person doing the Second Chance Offer has 0 feedback so I only went to them out of desperation...
!!!!!!, Second Chance person has just messaged back being like, "what if I need to claim on insurance?". I DON'T KNOW NOR CARE, JUST BUY MY PHONEEEEEEEE.
Dunno what to do now, I HATE having eBay issues - it always goes smoothly normally.

Because OH works shifts, he is available about 60% of the time so he will have H when possible, then both my mum and MIL have reduced their hours at work so will look after H on the days when OH can't. I'm doing 3 days a week so I'm hoping that it will mostly work out that OH will have H 2 days, then either my Mum or MIL the other day.
That is very sweet of the nursery, BM.
She doesn't really live that near - it's over an hour in the car, but she is too out of practice to drive that far on motorway so she needs to get the train which takes over 2 hours with transfers. That's why she needs to come the night before. My parents stay closer, but I have issues with my mother so I don't want her to have too much control, but I don't want her to miss out either - I think my dad in particular will be gutted when i go back to work and don't pop round as often! He totally dotes on her.
You are lucky your mum and MIL will reduce their hours to help you out as it can get awkward trying to get childcare with changing shifts sometimes.0 -
Hi Sugar  How was the interview?0

Fitz - Sorry you had a bad experience with the CM, at least you were only visiting/interviewing her so can walk away:) I rushed into a CM last year and it was awful, I literally couldn't get him out of there quick enough!!! I went with a nursery which was/is fantastic and if I ever need childcare again I will be back there like a shot:)
EA - How exciting...fingers and toes crossed for the morning:D
Had the midwife round today to discharge us, and how lovely, it was the midwife that delivered K last year:D It was so lovely to see her. She was saying how cute he is and how it is nce to see the littlies that they have delivered when they are a little bit bigger:) She also said T is gorgeous:)
I have tried to relax a lot more today, since my chat with the HV on Tuesday, which really helped me. She made me realise I am not a loopy bint and what I have been feeling is actually more common than realised! She told me a few stories and gave me some kind words etc.... and to think I didn't like her last year?Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Hello
It was great, they let me know very quickly that the job was significantly different to the advertisement, I decided I didn't want it and they didn't offer it to me. Weirdly though I was the second on their list even after blatantly not caring :rotfl:
When it came down to it though I was surprised at how strongly even going to the interview made me feel about not leaving Munich. We're now trying to see if we can come up with a plan that allows us to remain here
Edit because I'm catching up:
EA, come on POS for us
Tara, it sounds like you had a lovely day in spite of your husband's very rude family. I would just pretend they had a lovely time and gush about how glad you are that they so obviously enjoyed themselves every chance you have.
Mel, that all sounds very positive, hugs
Fitz, that CM sounded awful. I hope you find the perfect one.
Good luck Tigs with your interview.
Not jealous at all all you meeting ladies, not after the mini meet on Monday (although a play area might have made it easier for us to talk rather than me spending so much time removing ancient chocolate chips from Molly's hands).
